QUOTE(ashx @ Mar 2 2016, 06:31 AM) I've been meaning to go into Reit, still a learning. I gather now isn't really a time for entry? Cmmt has sungai wang which is not doing well. Mqreit is doing good but market do not prefer office reit because of relatively low or probably negative rental revisionMQ/CMMT seems ok to entry? |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Mar 2 2016, 03:49 PM) Yes, Lets join mqreit?Yield become non-attractive at current level. The play now is capital appreciation + rental revision which lead to earning/distribution improvement, this is why the share price can hold up despite at 4.5% yield. But I am out at this price. Also out CMMT. Partial out YTLreit as well. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ May 27 2016, 10:13 PM) Ya, sold. some reits are stable and still offer good DY (e.g. MQreit) Cannot comprehend recent reit movement, even for Axreit. Yield below FD rate on IGBreit and Axreit. I can understand Klibor is heading lower than make Mreit become more attractive. But at the same time, US interest rate hike is looming as well. |

QUOTE(Orang Sabah @ Jun 21 2016, 04:58 PM) Hi guys, just wondering for IGB REIT, noted that its entire managers management fee is paid in units while currently, half of SUNREIT's management fee is paid in units and management will move to 100% cash payment by next year if I am not mistaken (feel free to correct me). there is no fixed rule that management fees shall be paid in cash / units. some managers prefer units i believeAny idea why is there a difference in the treatment of management fee? |

QUOTE(Orang Sabah @ Jul 1 2016, 09:30 AM) Invstors investing in REIT usually want dividend (money inflow). Therefore Right issue usually will let the REIT price depress as many investors dont really willing to fork out extra money. |
