Working on the new site forums for FIFA LYN, the design is relatively simple enough. Should be able to finish within a few days. I used up my free domain voucher to book lynfootball.com so hopefully the community will go to there in the future.

Might be using vBulletin to build the new forum site. In the meantime I'll list member names in the OP of this thread for those that want.

For those playing tonight, enjoy FIFA 15 guys! For the rest, patience is virtue. laugh.gif

I wanted hard copy as well but the price increase made it difficult to resist using Origin's deal. tongue.gif

Played a ton of games already.
Tried Arsenal vs Chelsea first, found the pace too frantic. Felt like was playing FIFA 14. On Legendary btw.

Switch to mid-table teams and the pace of the game was much better.

I'm not sure if it's just me but fouls seem a bit toned down.

Still annoyed there's still no advantage for offside.

dont rush to buy, it only works with micro usb for the moment, no way to connect with wireless yet  sad.gif

the seller told me can connect via bluetooth
*
I'm pretty sure it only uses 2.4Ghz Wireless. A receiver is needed definitely.
I'm still on Xbox360 Wireless but will consider switching if they add a proper wireless receiver.

PS4's DS4 can already use on PC via Wireless or Cable. You only need a bluetooth dongle and custom drivers.

Have u tried disabling API Monitoring? Try right click the FIFA 15 profile in RadeonPro and disable API Monitoring.

It should work since the GT540m is a directx11 card. Have u tried "Repair Game" in Origin?

apparently the game only detected my intel GPU. so i changed my laptop settings and it worked. can play already.

now comes another issue. my gamepad is not detected in the game although it appears on my laptop list of devices. and when i try to play a match, the video lag so bad.
*
Video lag might be because of something trying to hook to D3D when videos are playing. Are you running MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner/similar or Fraps?

yup and no one seems to complain or mention it over the internet. sad.gif

EA didnt say anything about it, they secretly removed it from fifa 15. wonder why

i am now using fraps to record
*
Yea noticed this too when I wanted to save a nice free-kick I made.

I used Shadowplay(NVIDIA) instead as there's barely any impact on FPS when recording.

Connection is poor in general for our near region as not many people have the game on PC yet. Played plenty of online friendlies and it's silky smooth as FIFA 14 (slight input lag) due to the beefier requirements of the game, but way more smooth than Seasons or FUT.

Friendlies with nearby opponents (Malaysians/Sporeans) or via matchmaking with Seasons/FUT?

I think its probably because the game uses a different database for online and offline. Some of your edits might get overriden by the squad updates or because the edits only affect offline db.

what about u bro ...try and see wether urs got effect or not..... i dun think its about the database........
*
If it's anything like FIFA 14, editing stuff using Creation Centre or the in-game edit mode, the edits will not show up if you turn on Match-day squads. I could only see the edits when I turn it off, forcing the game to use the offline database.

@capoi
I think there are plenty of guides on the internet. Plus the game itself will explain it to you as you go by. Start with playing Leagues/Tournaments against CPU instead of online in FUT. You'll learn as you progress.

I'm not really sure what db career mode uses, I assume that in order to keep the players stats/roster up to date on a weekly basis, it uses an online db when you first start the mode and then keeps it as a separate offline db when you save.

As for the part I mentioned, I tested my in-game edits in kick off. I think you need to do trial and error as I'm not really sure which db is connected to which. The redundancy is there because the game wants to make sure you can play offline but when u play online it will use EA's live database to avoid sync errors.

Sync errors are mainly to prevent cheaters from boosting stats of certain players online. Trainers/hacks all tamper with player ratings.

@mrhrs

Sorry bro, took down the site as I was migrating to a different and easier domain to remember.

I've already finished the new forums site. Hopefully we can all gather and discuss there. I plan big things for the site, such as league and tournaments. Feel free to sign up and contribute.

Why the price for FIFA 15 (DVD) is so expensive this time ? Almost every store sold it for RM160-170.

Usually they sell it for RM125-RM140(maximum).
*
Retailers are saying the games are imported from Europe this time around, which is why the cost is higher.

Ya Bluetooth dongle 2.1 and above only can be used

It's quite some trouble setting up tho

U might have bought a dongle that is incompatible and give u connection problems

But so far in my case it's easy after I learned what I did wrong setting up
*
Very easy to setup, you basically need a bluetooth dongle and the USB cable to pair it.

1. Download Xbox360 drivers for XInput - http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/...ler-for-windows
2. Install DS4 Tool from here. http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-DS4Windows-...-another-thread
3. Open the DS4 Tool app and connect your PS4 Controller by cable or pair it with your Bluetooth dongle.

Really? Damn. I was under the impression my GPU was still upper mid-range level. And that the i5 would be enough for Fifa O.o
*
I don't think its just a matter of gpu in your case, I know some people that have the Nvidia GT650m and it's running okay for them. If it's lagging badly it might be something intervening with your game. Have u tried disabling Origin-in-game?

Btw, to the rest that posted their Origin ID's, I strongly recommend you guys register on lynfootball.com, the profile system will show your Origin ID at all times for registered users, so you won't need to repeat yourself. We've got plans to build a community with leagues and tournaments. smile.gif
