Why call DIY services n experience here.

Need you guys learn more from zero to can handle for easy job, like DIY maintenace by monthly or weekly, but usually weekly is no bothering it.
Time + lazy, cause very dusty from pre-filters.

How much would you like to know, just question this thread will you learning more.

Yesterday I sapu at bukit Indah Jusco for at least 10 packs + hood filter too

share for how to reused with extra filters.

Original use for 1- 2 months condition.


pour water 1st


wash with dynomo detergent.


completed clean


hanging on hanger for keep it dry

This morning just try to clean out on my ME blower from over 5 yrs never wash before.

lucky has apply extra filter then for more easier to maintenance

ME really easy to remove out fan blower, unlike hitachi have to take out fan blower motor.


very dusty an hide inside the blower, even easy clean to access on blower parts, but still not 100% can touch internal side.


just use tap water only






after wipe out on internal casing.




but make sure the fan bearing put some grease to solve out noise

the conclusion after simple clean out on fan blower can feels the airs much stronger than before and more quiet now.

i had my hitachi All DC inverter used for spare unit only and diy clean out on blower..

very hard to remove fan blower, the only solution to remove out whole fan coil unit down.


original condition, but also had used with extra filter for this unit.



the reason need to remove out fan motor and pcb.


then remove whose parts for fan blower and coil and drain pan for clean out.

the conclusion to own hitachi parts is worst than ME at all.
also many parts was made in china and claims it very expansive parts for sell m'sia.
even cooling coil also worst than ME.

from only Daiso was carry for aircon filters.

I don't think outside of Daiso outlet you able to find the same Aircon filter selling like Daiso..

Daiso filter was Japan design can apply for any brand of Aircon = universal aircon filter.
