QUOTE(honkkydorry @ Mar 9 2015, 05:34 PM) ASG seems to be giving better dividend than ASW since 2012. Is this fund open to all and any quota for non-bumi and bumi? Sorry, I have not been following up on ASx news for a while. Can still open account? well ASW & ASG is different. u cannot compare both.ASW2020 - 51% bumi 49% Non bumi quota -fixed price @ rm1/unit -currently sold out ASG -No quota -variable pricing, up & down depend on KLCI performance -still available for more information, read 1st page of tis thread or u can visit ASNB website |

QUOTE(plumberly @ Mar 10 2015, 03:13 PM) Look at the 1, 2, 3 etc numbers next to the date. wait a minute..I think the number will go up to 80. Then you will have to change to a new passbook. each AS1M passbook page only have 1, 2, 3...12 & have 8 pages don't have 13, 14, 15...80 or nowdays the passbook is different style. my passbook from 2009 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by nexona88: Mar 10 2015, 09:55 PM |

I think there's some panic withdrawal on AS1M..
Some unitholders maybe think that AS1M = 1MDB thus u see past few days have a lot of AS1M units available |

well I also kinda worried ASx funds invest in 1MDB IPO, but I guess the fund may invest max 10% of total NAV only
reading the AR booklet, I saw that most "big" investment (each listed companies) is around 5% - 8% of the fund total NAV. So the 10% I stated is logical even if the fund "forced" to invest on side note, some pipu didn't learn the mistake done from the AS1M 2009.. for those noobie who donno, when AS1M was launched, there was tis rumors tat the fund may only give 4% return NOW THE BEST TIME FOR NON-BUMI TO GET SOME UNITS OR OPEN NEW AS1M ACCOUNT This post has been edited by nexona88: Mar 16 2015, 04:45 PM |

QUOTE(cashflow5357 @ Mar 17 2015, 09:41 PM) what is the procedure in asb branch? need to fill form n quee? take cash together? ASNB branch need to take cash.. kindly advise what if at the moment at counter dun have? queee again? never been there I advise u to go agents bank like Maybank, CIMB or RHB. if u have account in any of this 3 banks, it's much more "safer".. juz bring your bank passbook & AS1M passbook & give to the teller.. they would try 1st how much unit can get. lastly u withdraw your money from your bank account.. ASNB & banks is the same. u need to fill the deposit form (blue colur) & take Q number. then go counter |
