Many of those who invested in assets other than fixed-price ASx & FD, are currently experiencing -ve returns(except for a few smart ones) becos they are still fully invested. It is at this time we (ASx & FD) are thankful for the consistent returns even though it is not fantastic.

QUOTE(my44 @ Aug 27 2015, 08:22 AM) Interesting point if this applies. I've heard of the same rule before re: lowest balance of the month. That means if my ASB2 is 0 on 31/8 and in the morning of 1/9 before I put 40k in it, probably that means my lowest balance in September is 0. Hmm ... Let's see if other experts can vouch for this. I think should be lowest end-of-day balance as in bank's account. |

QUOTE(Mr Gray @ Aug 28 2015, 10:08 AM) My apologies. I've directly talked to my colleague working at ASNB Product. You're indeed very right wil-i-am. For daily balance, ASNB uses closing balance for that day. Therefore, if you put the money on 1st of the month, that would be the closing balance for that day. If 1st of the month is a holiday eg Sunday, you won't be able to do the same for 2nd day of the month. Ie, you have to deposit before the month begins. Was about to rebut u on your previous posts b4 this comes out.At any time in a working day, say original balance is RM10,000. If you withdraw RM5000 in the morning, and deposit again RM5000 in the afternoon. The closing balance would not be affected, therefore, the lowest balance for the month would not be affected. |

QUOTE(plumberly @ Sep 1 2015, 08:47 PM) My bet is, it will be the same as ASW, i.e., 6.4% Fully agree. It is only 1 month apart for ASW & AS1M. They started a trend where ASX give about the same rate (unless there is something seriously wrong where they cannot adhere to the same rate). They already know (or rather decided) on the rate 1-2 months before the due date. Cheerio. |

QUOTE(plumberly @ Sep 2 2015, 07:39 AM) I see. Thanks. This roughly prove a point that THE POLICY only benefits the well-connected and the rest are still left far far behind and yet these people are their FD.85% of RM5.7 billion = RM4.8 billion owned by 3% of ASD subscribers Assuming 100,000 subscribers, then 3,000 own RM4.8 billion. Equals to about RM 1 million each. So ..... |

QUOTE(cheahcw2003 @ Sep 8 2015, 09:02 PM) there is no withdrawal limit if you transfer the withdrawal to your saving or current account, then u can transfer it out using cheque or interbank transfer. So those who said about withdrawal limit are merely scare mongering? There is a limit on cash withdrawal as the bank needs liquidy in the strong room. |

I am too lazy to go thru the details. Just want to know whether all funds (VP & FP) in ASN invested on similar things (all local). If so then the NAV should be moving in the same manner(not value).

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 10 2015, 12:55 PM) what I trying to say is for past 5 years the units in circulation didn't go beyond 20bil mark, NOT approved fund size didn't go above 20bil mark I didn't say that u are wrong, I am just saying the approved fund szie is 22 billion. Just like a UT fund with a approved fund size of 100m unit which after launching for 3 years managed to sell only 90m units. |
