I didn't say that u are wrong, I am just saying the approved fund szie is 22 billion. Just like a UT fund with a approved fund size of 100m unit which after launching for 3 years managed to sell only 90m units.

But in the rules stated in the passbook, there is one clause that i am not so sure:-

''Jualan balik tertakluk kepada empat kali setahun'' means I can only withdraw the funds 4 times per annum, this is confirm, is it?

Okay, just to clarify as i saw that clause in my passbook..

but it's kinda scary cus it's stated in the passbook. should anything happen, asnb can just refer back to his passbook.

My account is a new one.. So the passbook should be the new one.. i guess..

On the other hand, I saw the following Clause 8 in the red-colored ASW2020 Passbook, on the page titled : MAKLUMAN.

8. ASNB mempunyai hak untuk menambah, memansuh atau meminda sebarang syarat-syarat dan peraturan-peraturan urus niaga pada bila-bila masa tertakluk kepada peraturan yang ditetapkan oleh Suruhanjaya Sekuriti dan/atau di dalam surat ikatan.

And I saw the following Clause 6 in the new golden-colored ASM Passbook, on the page titled : MAKLUMAN.

6, Pihak ASNB berhak menambah, memansuh atau meminda sebarang syarat-syarat dari semasa ke semasa.

Conclusion : they have the right to enforce changes, based on or not on the Securities Commission directives. What does the MP say ?

It takes about 20 minutes of my time and at last, i managed to open it using RM100 as my initial deposit..

I opened it at RHB Bank.. Padungan branch, Kuching..

At first, I told the officer on my belief that there would be available units and asked if i can try to open the account..

He passed me the number, then the teller was very helpful and helped me on the account..

I have to say that i am glad, at least my wish is honored..

I am not thinking about asking ASNB customer care as i think it should not be a big problem for me as i seldom withdraw funds from ASX..

Mine also got another more scary clause.. it says dividend to be paid by cheque or reinvestment in ASB (But i think ASB is typing error)..

if i'm not mistaken, asnb did pay out in cheque instead of units in one of the years right?

I have seem both old gen and new gen ma haha. Old gen is Honda city mew red colour. New gen is orange in colour wan. And the number page for new gen is same as the ASM new book.

Yape, now i am counting down on the announcement of the income distribution for AS1M..

Still struggling to consider on whether to withdraw certain amount of AS1M and place to ASW2020 after receiving the units credited..

I just dont want to see only 100 units in ASW2020.. Any suggestions and opinions on this plan?

Yes.. I was planning on that.. now only need to wait on 1st october..

By the way, do you think it is advisable despite that ASW2020 income tax exemption only valid till 2016?

What i scared it if ASW2020 exemption is not extended, difficult for me to return the money back to AS1M (tax exemption till 2018) again in future..

Dam angry, went to Maybank Kajang prima to change my ASM book to the new one. The counter staff mentioned I have to leave the old book there and wait until next week and come again to collect the new book, she said this is due to too many of people changing their books. Ok fine.

After that went to RHB bank. No problem, on the spot change the ASM book for me.

Wtf is wrong with that Maybank staff? I felt something not right, she told me to leave my book there for what? She can't process anything also. It's so obvious she did not want to change the book for me, giving excuses.

Luckily today I'm not in a bad mood, if not I will lodge a report on her poor attitude.
