Yeah now they are more discreet, i dont see ASM books lying around anymore, but cant really call it syndicate, it is not an organised kind of things, just if their mood good and willing, they give special services...

In actual fact what you bought may not be your seller's units at all. The lag time from the system is significant enough, that you really can't synchronise or time it.

I have experienced that first hand on a day when CIMB banks were all down for quite a long period.., cant do any transaction at all.... and i was buying the ASX at MBB when i met a couple desperate to cash out some RM20k of their precious ASX. I talked to them and the tellers to synchronise the sale and my purchase......as we were at the counter
side by side. I saw the lag time there, they already sold theirs, and my teller's repeated buy orders were just unsuccessful.......until quite some time later....

I got some RM10k or so then, but the way i see the repeated attempts keying in the buy order, i am not convinced those 10k units are even theirs.........



You can and you get to buy FSM UT at 0% fee! So the transfer is like FOC.
Of course in FSM there is no Public Mutual funds, so you just buy other UTS available in FSM.

Worth it......eg if you have RM4M put in long term FD 4.5%, your passive income is RM15k a month.

And with ASX is even better , more than RM21k! Why bother about inflation rate?

If our economy really go bust, ASX Dividends sure fall.

I doubt it would come to a stage when all our ASX money disappear just like that.
By then i think FD would also be similarly affected.....so no difference la.


With ASB you get additional 1-2%, risks would be the same also no..?
Properties and shares are a must have too, they are just different category.

But properties need alot more effort, expenses at every corner, return subject to tax some more

Then surprisingly Pos Office Seksyen 14 said can open. easy with IC only, but kid must be there. so done one, one more to go.

yes asnb persiaran damai shah alam also said full no quota. then i went buy stamp, simply asked and surprised the girl said yes, can open, but kid must go. but her drawer only got the yellow book stated 'Dewasa', she nearly told me under 18 cannot, i insisted can ,she went checking then did it.

also if you dont want the counter girl to see your substantial balance, better get more books and use different books each time you go.

i usually give them all 3 books, each color one, tell them i want red first ,.. trying to balance the 3 colors.
but red always difficult like yesterday i got to accept all 16k in yellow, end of the day any book pun tak apa...



The balance is always visible in the last page, it can be embarassing when they say wah sudah banyak mahu lagi etc. i have disproportionate amount on different books, as previously i could only top up for kids under 18 and myself. Now i could top up for my kids above 18 and also for my wife's book.

the most they can add up is the 3 books there with them, i like to believe she can not see all our books in one screen at the same time. Or she could really see them all??

say you have 5 ASM books, your self and 4 kids, do you think all the accounts will show up there when you go top up on only one book?

counting from 1.8.2015 onwards.

To get interest calculated for month July 2015, must deposit money in June right??
