anybody managed to top up, open new ASM or AS1M just now? 1 CIMB branch cannot do, try another branch can do, but can only do 1 transaction per book, for some funny reason now

tomorrow i plan to treat the pretty MB teller KFC, she very diligently made 12 transactions for me today.
And guess wat, the not so frenly teller next to her, overheard my offer and she dared said wah, only offer her next time i wont call your number... If she, sure the max i can do is only 3 transactions and have to go take another queue number!

Any idea where can i read some discussion in Lyn with regards to inheritance , execution of will , inheritance tax etc,eg:

Dad has a will, he willed a house to me, i just go on collecting the rental...i dont intend to claim the property any time soon.

1)Is there a time period that if i do not claim ( get it transferred to my name), the will will somehow become not enforceable after a long lapse of time?

2) Is it wrong legally speaking, to keep on collecting the rental without getting the house transferred to my name?

there is benefit if beneficiary knows. if they dont know about it, your assets may be lying idle not claimed till they find out. may be much later.

plumberly must have happily put in all his FD redemption into ASX already.

I managed to put in all mine from the last 2 FD redemptions. AS1M is really alot, one shot 35k also can get!

Now with recent massive panic selling on AS1M, i just wonder whether AS1M would continue to be a good choice for risk averse investors like me ie can it still give 6+% return, or at least better return than FD in the near future, next dividend payout i mean.

If there is a change in political position and 1MDB scandal officially proven and it collpased, would it hit only AS1M or others like ASW and ASM would be affected to the same extent?

Hope those who are more in the know could shed some light for me to decide whether i should redeem my next Fd or not.

thanks, went to CIMB today, tellers are told not to allow new account opening...... sigh.... said if after open new account and cant get any unit, officer will scold cos difficult to reverse/delete account..? Anybody managed to open new account at any bank? i plan to try MBB tomorrow.

Fact is there were so many units of ASM and AS1m available just now. Finished all my cash in hand, still got some more! sigh....they just dont want to open new account...i said RM100 sure can get, they are just not willing..

ASM/AS1M n ASW not their KPI i think. doubt manager would bother. keep pushing for ASN3, ASG... only

MBB is now my better bet since the "troubled instruction affected the CIMB. can only try 1 attempt la blah ..

Tried open AS1M acc for my kids at ASNB ysterday, told "all full", not related to units availability.

Spoke to the manager, she said will call me when 'available' . Apparently there is a quota for new account opening, eg a Br is given 200 new accounts, once taken up, have to wait for next quota fr HQ. True kah?

I am not worried about units all sold, so far my experience ,AS1M just always available.and in big amount too..

As long as they willing to open new account, almost certain you can get the units,just RM100 required..

the problem now is they just refuse to help us open, their excuse is difficult to reverse the acccount back if cant get units..

me still waiting for the chance to open new account for kids AS1M.....awaiting for the call from br manager of ASNB. She was quite nice, called me the other day i could go open new ASM acc on 6.5.15, but i told her i only want AS1M .
