some scary shit discovery for me lah ... i went down to para 6.6 ASG performance charts & lo & behold i believe they re-calibrated the benchmarks to make the charts look beautiful. 2013 was glaring for pendidikan
didn't look indepth ... maybe I mistaken???
update: hahaha the current years they invest more into equities & less in MM... hence the change imho
I hold ASG for quite some times. Around 3 years if not mistaken. some scary shit discovery for me lah ... i went down to para 6.6 ASG performance charts & lo & behold i believe they re-calibrated the benchmarks to make the charts look beautiful. 2013 was glaring for pendidikan

AFAIK, the Kesihatan fund invested heavily in equities, 80++%. Others consider ok. like around 60%. That's why...
And the variable funds are can I say fully? depend on the performance of KLCI. Once the KLCI drop, the NAV dropped too...
I noticed the phase where they hold the highest point, which is in 12 13 14. Price skyrocketed each day. Until 1.22 for kesihatan, now standing at 1.06. 15% dropped. I believe if all the issues in MY solved, it will bounced back. So for those who wish to invest but don't want headache for monitoring price like stock or forex, ASG can be considered.
But, looking the trend, those day we consider investing in ASG is due to there is no more units left in fixed priced fund. Perhaps, yes, investing in ASG can be giving high profit if the condition given are same as 12 or 13. I calculated, yes, around 16%... But now only 2.8%... Really need to say thank you.
But now, since everyone scarred of dealing with the so called gov link but actually no, its governed by trustee, there is plenty of fixed price fund unit left. As you can see few hundred posts before....
So, if you have, erm, guts, welcome to the club!!!
