to extend suggestion, please no more theological debates here. It inflict hates, it generates biases, it produce discord and resentment. Look at the reality... there are a lot of denomination, there is no way this thread can unify all doctrine into 1 single truth. There is no way. so please, no more theological debates.

I think the most important is the will of the daughter. If the daughter accepts me, eventually the father has no choice but to warm up to me.

Of course, I would respect him because he is the father of the girl I am going after. I will try my best to please him. But i can only go so far.
