Enough with the Arsenal thingy... I think we need to focus on our games at hand... What are the chances of us winning the Capital Cup since Matic is suspended? Will Mou deploy Mikel + Rami in the middle... I'd say that's the best option we have so far... Even though Mikel is far from creative, he's the best attack stopper in the middle... and he doesn't dwell to far ahead... unlike Rami... Let Cesc play in his favourite position... just behind Costa... I think Costa is a big game player.... he'll show up in the final... don't worry about it... if not, we still can rely on Mr. Wembley... Don't underestimate Drogba... he is the kind of guy meant for big occasions... I won't be surprise if Mou pick him ahead of anyone in the team... it's his fav hunting ground... many have fell under his predatory attack.... hail king Drogba....

mikel vs eriksson, chadli, townsend, dembele, kane, mason. just to think about it also wanna cry dy.

fab play better at CM. more time and space for him to produce those killer passes. super ineffective playing at AM.

drogba was good. but nowhere near good atm. maybe can sub him in for extra protection in last 5mins. provided we lead the game of course.

this will be my first xi vs spuds:

cech; iva, zouma, terry, dave; fab, rami; willian, oscar, hazard; costa.

o well. I do rmb last time someone tackled Arsenal's Eduardo and also Ramsey. In the end both of them had long term injury in the sideline. U will only feel it when it happens to ur team's player. laugh.gif

putting mikel+ramires together will only brings negativity to the game. i still think fab+ramires is the best option we got there with oscar dropping into defensive duty when fab ventures forward. btw, i thought mikel is injured, no?

agree on drogba.. he should play if luis is selected ahead of azpi. if azpi is selected, then forget about drogba. maybe in the last few minutes should we need to waste the time or to chase the result. he is still a big game player but to play the full game at his age, and in the match this important is a no-no for me.

willian vs cuadrado? i'll go with willian. defensively hardworking and capable of wonders while attacking. cuadrado still very new and in the game that he played so far since joining us, i still don't trust his defensive work yet.

cahill vs zouma? zouma of course.. enough with cahill. seriously, what happen to this guy?

I thought it was park 10 players in the box and get 1 black player to chase the ball? laugh.gif

Really dunno what happen to Cahill. Or maybe he was always borderline like this, only JT made the def line looked good. And Zouma came in and showed us the difference. Still hopeful he will improve and step into JT's role. At this rate, he can't even start ahead of Zouma.

agree on the bolded part. and if i am to be a bit lenient to cahill, maybe he is in that poor form period of the season. every player got one right so, maybe this is his.. he did perform poorly in some of his last few appearance but let see how he performed until end of the season. he is still a good player. the question now is he worth the starting berth or not. with zouma playing awesomely when selected, he might need to put up his effort to justify his selection into the starting berth.

that is monaco vs our london neighbour.....
we parked 11 players in the box during 2-1 and 6-0 against them as i can remember

really pissed me off when we parked the bus and still conceded doh.gif
this happened a few times, against mc, mu and recently burnley....
hope it wont happen vs spurs

But against kane, dont think mikel can do much unless we hold mid field and slow the tempo.OR we put both remi and willian to help back 4 to stop kane.iva gonna have a hard time stopping kane.luis ahead iva anyone? hmm.gif
*
that's the key... like spurs game against West Ham... even though it's a draw, the hammers manage to shut the service to Kane... forcing him to drop deep to get the ball... We can do that with the work rate of Rami + Mikel parking in the middle.... I would not sacrifice Iva for Luis... I'll still prefer Iva over Luis because of the treat going forward... I know Iva does leave a big gap on the right side if he steam roll forward... that's why we need the pace of Rami... and Mikel will be crucial in holding the middle line... I think Zouma would start ahead of Cahill.... Don't worry about Kane... Fatigue will catch up with him after the Valencia game.... We can win this... besides we have Hazard.... the wild card that I fear is Eriksen... if he plays well, the Spurs is hard to beat.... not Kane... Kane is just on a roll right now... it will die down eventually...

Don't really agree on the bold statement... Even when he is playing CM, most of his killer pass came when he ventures forward (at AM position).... better put him where he is comfortable attacking without the burden of defence...

the problem playing him at CM is when he ventures forward (which he will do all the time), the gap in the middle is huge... just rami alone might not enough to cover it... as spurs have speedy midfielders.... it will be our game if we can play it at our pace... not Spurs pace...

FAB favorite position is CM, even himself mention it. And CM is the position to utilize his long range pass which OSCAR is lacking (basically we dont have anyone near as good as FAB at that). FAB is equally capable playing at AMC as he used to play up front as false 9 for BARCA, and at CHELSEA we saw first hand those dribble and 1 2 in the box but to make full use of his capability he have to play at CM.

Against TOTS, i have a feeling if we park the bus we will win, and if we win CoC, i think the winning momentum will carry us all the way to win BPL in the end.

The middle CM and CDM will still be Mikel and Fab. Then the usual Hazard, Oscar and William with Costa / Drog (prefer Costa as he really need to score goals)

Just hope the back 4 is Azpi, Terry, Zouma and Iva.

We never facing any problem before against spurs but 5-3 lost to them suddenly put us in worried position. It happened to atletico vs madrid. Atleti never won against madrid for long time but when they start to win, it become easy for them. Haha kinda worried same things happen to us.

But in Jose we trust. Spurs build their attack thru eriksen and using kane strenght. I think Jose know how to stop them. Losing Matic totally a bit blow to us since his pivot role with cesc are the reason why we stay at the top of the table right now. It difficult for replacement to have the same impact as matic.

say hello to our new sponsor.

Chelsea are ready to sign off the second-largest shirt sponsorship deal in English football history with Yokohama Rubber.
It is understood the Yokohama agreement is worth almost £40m-a-year, which will push Chelsea ahead of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City in the shirt sponsorship table

Turkish Airline deal didnt happen. but 40m though.. not too bad laugh.gif
