anyone noticed before go up to any hill, slow down/stop your car, then u try to accelerate your car. It seems like it takes some time(~2sec) to get into "power" to get up to hill. Anyone experience this? Or is this because of their linearity drives?

"lag" can easily obvious when car going to slow down and yet completely stop. Then, accelerate because the traffic light turns to green, u will feel the power abit "lag" to move ur car.

btw, bsc of linearity acceleration, when drive at highway, u will feel the acceleration is fast and smooth to speed up and reach top speed. Very Fun to drive

QUOTE(terion @ Mar 17 2015, 12:29 AM)
yes i know, but what im saying is now the lag is not so long anymore

compared to when i first got the car

or maybe just me  unsure.gif
*
Icic... maybe i should hold on a little while and feel it again.
Glad to hear that tho...

kla I summarize my Mazda2 dilemma

1)CACAT HEADLIGHT
2)fiesta's handling so much better woiiiiiiii
3)Why aircon so lousy r?(cannot put max coolness and fan power coz wana make use of I-stop. To me really quite hot leh, kesian the passengers at the rear)
4) Frustrating to alwiz see the avg consumption at 19Litre/100KM. so susah payah reduce it to 13Litre/100km, but car idle for a couple of minutes to teach my mum how to drive the car, the AVG kept increasing.
5)Canot alarmkan the car from the remote.
6)wat the hell is wrong with the rear fog light design? y 1 side only??
7) i still cannot find place to place my smarttag/handphone(had to make use of the cup holders
*
1) no comment. Knew them upfront
2) kinda of agreed to you. but m2 for me now its quite good jor
3) no issues on that tho.
4) yea.. very frustrating. Always wanna lower than that stupid L/KM. sometimes lost concentration and dont dare to accelerate also. Irritating.. but my first tank fuel consumption is around 7.9L/KM which is shown in the MZD, if i calculate myself is around 8.2L/KM. Driving in very jam place also sometimes driving on small roads with bumps during working time =.=". And I reset the trip, FC in MZD show freaking high like ~10L/KM =.="
Anyone know when u use Fuel Comsumption application in MZD, u can set some setting like (Sync when ignite off? (smtg lk this - forgotten what it is ), and sync with trip A), what are those for?
5) Yea abit cacat that cant alarm via remote
6) Driving sedan, so its in middle tho.
7) I use to put my phone horizontally lay on the CD player, which above the USB ports. Hhahaa.. i do that when use waze tongue.gif
Another comments is, really sometimes can notice a small jerk(mostly when slowing down and accelerate after that). =.=" I hope its not the problem on gearbox tho. *Worried*

Finally! At least Sum1 shares the same view like me.(except the air-condition's)

The light when u knew upfront I believe u super mad initially rite?

The jerk due to downshift?

Okok 1 more complain to add up from me lol...

I cannot find the coin compartment to place coins!!!!! Hahaha
*
Yea when I saw japan model got this light, i was so damn happy, but when it reach to Msia, i terus become boring... But i would like to say, m2 still looks great (except the stupid lights), overall was GOOD!
Lol.. i think the jerk is because of downshifting then u suddenly accelerate it again. Feel like the sudden change of gear gonna have this little jerk tho. Not sure.

for the compartment, the two front doors there got cup holders right? I plan to get some container to put on one of the middle cup-holder there as a place to put coins. HAhaha..

last time, i send my old myvi to perodua SC, they do alignment & balancing... end up the tyres botak faster than b4...
whenever i service my car, i will ask them exclude these services

however, u still can try 1st, if not ok then no next time
*
Icic.. Noted.

Btw wanna ask, in the odometer there, we can see the RANGE which I believe it representing how much your car can travel with given amount of fuel left.
Does your RANGE value varies??
Mine is around 550+ for the first fuel pump when I gotten the car. Then after second fuel pump, is around 520 like that. Dropped.. =(
Does that value accurate?

Varies on how heavy is your foot. It's just an indication for you when to fuel up.
*
icic..
Do i consider heavy footer with that amount? rclxub.gif Cant really ramp at all cause of everyday jam. lol
Is there anyone at here able to travel around 600km with almost a full tank(maybe left some small bars) with their sedan/Hb?

If highway without hill, it's possible. But my foot was so light I guess those behind me surely very mad of me lol

On traffic, very tough. Maybe 8++
*
haha.. yea my way to work is full of traffics. so my last fc is around 7.9L/km that shown in MZD

To get good FC like 4.8? or 5.0L/KM, u have to drive slow =.=". Then no point jor lo.
For me now, everytime wanna step a bit more also need to think twice. Very irritating. Anyway i don't care much anymore.
I just drive like how i drive normally. Otherwise, i lost the enjoyment of driving if keep on going like that.
What i meant is drive fast a bit but not those dangerous kind of fast like F1 =.=" haha..

like what Terion said, i think if drive highway, probably can achieve that figure. Gonna try it when i balik kampung.

Some update: Went to Glenmarie SC and checked on the jerking problem when the car slowdown slowly coming to a stop. Feedback from the technical, its might be the gear shifting down ratio not smooth and they cannot do anything about it except to report & get help from the Japan. Not sure whether I am convinced with the answer but wanna try asking some other experts from other branch. e.g: S.buloh.

Anyone else experience this where you slow down ur car and you will feel the slight jerk when almost come to a stop.? or any other issue?
*
your jerk happened all the time? did you try to test drive with them on the spot?
I can feel a jerk sometimes when you try to slow down then suddenly pick up back again.
And I also noticed that, during morning time, when u start engine, macam abit louder and also when u sit in ur car quietly, u can feel your the car vibrate a little bit one. HAHha.. not sure any of u got the problem or not.

Yes, they test drove it themselves when i am sitting beside them. They had whole brake checked and no issue was found and they suspected the gear shift not smooth and told that their test drive car also hv the same case. -__- i am not convinced since not much ppl here in this forums faced such issue yet. It happens most of the time when my speed above 20 km/h and coming to a stop again.

Did you experience any slightest jerk during slowdown coming to a stop? * you hv to brake slow slowly coming to a stop and not quick brake.

As for the engine louder is normal, the car is warming up the catalytic converter for better performance and FC. And ya, can feel the car vibrate. . quite normal for a avg size car eh i felt ( you try swing around in the car, you can feel the whole car moving liao), even on idle for long time, the compressor on& off also quite loud. My house cx-5 cbu from japan, drove flawlessly since day 1, two years back. Aiks, hopefully can solve this issue on M2 on the jerking part.
*
Icic.. I will try n try again. Hmm...
Sometimes the istop also abit worrying. Not sure it is really lasting and durable if keep Stop and start the car when istop kicks in. Cause i drive with bad traffics sometimes.

Driver can felt the obvious jerk through brake pedal but front passenger also can felt it if they really notice , cause its the whole car thingy. It is not very obvious jerk like manual cars change wrong gear type. But you can felt the sluggish/ not smooth brake when almost coming to a stop. > < Hope your take notice of it and let me know if it or doesn't happen to ur car?

I test drove one of the test drive hb the other day, also hv similar problem but probably 3/10 times.

Mine i-stop kick backs in quite loud also.. so i only use it when comes to a looong traffic light or jam... takut rosak of the battery due to high usage. > <
*
lol yea now i takut rosak the battery cause my way to work all jam one.
But im very use to it when stop then i straight change gear to N, then istop kicks in straight =.="
btw, the temperature in the odometer is referring to outside temperature? inside? engine? @_@
i dont have any manual book with me as my SA owe me one.

Drove the car on hw back to my hometown. Drive around average 130km/h. Noticed some wind noise and tyres noise is everywhere.lol... Overall the car is quite stable. Long run pickup is fast but if u r in stopped position Then It will takes some time to kicks in and accelerates. The gear shifting abit weird. Sometimes shift and sometimes doesnt. Hard to describe. Hahaa...

Yes u added some potential troublesome to those theifs when they wan to steal your Car. But if they really aim your ca, your car will definately gone. I lost my car before with brake locks and steering lock. And its still gone with the wind.
