Did you park your car on a slope?
*
not exactly a slope. hmm...lets say i park sideway, then the front left tyre drops into those sort of "longkang" about 1 inch depth near to pedestrian sidewalk those. that kind of situation oso will make switching from P hard?

QUOTE(dares @ Feb 16 2015, 11:18 PM)
In my experience, I would have difficulty shifting out of P because the car is parked on a sloped surface and the handbrake is not pulled tight enough, causing the car to rest on the P transmission parking pawl. In the long term, this may damage the parking pawl inside the gearbox.

Next time, after parking the car (engine still on), shift in to N with foot pressing the brake padel -> tarik handbrake -> release brake pedal, make sure the car is not rolling at all, if still rolling, tarik the handbrake tighter until the car won't move -> shift into P, switch off engine.
*
allright. noted and will start practicing that. the way i've been doing so far : park-> pull handbrake (pedal still on brake) -> switch to P -> release pedal -> turn off engine. this way i think some torque will remain & make things tighten bit by bit over time.

Cuz heard theres the gear cable change issue...

IMHO that will account for less than 10% of prospect buyer only. Axia/Myvi buyers are pretty much confirm on which car to buy based on their need and usage. The undecided camp however will probably take this huge discount into consideration.

p/s:
what's the meaning of dong dong chiang and shin shin quai ler?

lel
*
dong dong chiang is lion dance lor. shin shin quai ler i not sure. u heard shin nian quai ler isit? that is happy new year

Hi all sifu here, today i try doing the air-cond water removal DIY, and then notice this hose is not connected to anything.

I don't see any other disconnected holes or pipe but this just hang around open ended.

Can I suggest that for those owners who have gotten their Axia delivered to state the following:-

Model: Axia (G, SE. etc)
Booking Date:
Delivery Date:
Location (city/town):
Dealer:

This might help those of us still waiting for the deliveries of the Axia to have a rough idea when to expect deliveries of the car.

We rather not be conned by Sales Agents who kelentong and say P2 production slow.

My parents booked their Axia in November 2014 and SA promised delivery in Jan 2015.

Still waiting lor!
*
Model: Advance
Booking Date: mid Nov 2014
Delivery Date: first week of Feb 2015
Location (city/town): Bayan Lepas Penang
Dealer: DUARIA

Nice pics bro!! I did my 4 in 1 at shorty's shop too.. what is your next project? Axia has a lot of poison tongue.gif

I m loving my axia.. so far no problems  with it.. no rattling  sound, no water leaking at exhaust etc like some forummers here.. maybe some ppl here too high expectations  on this car.. pay 30k but expect 90k car quality  smile.gif

Only  complaint is the lousy n rubbish  Silverstone  tyres. Problem  solved by changing  rims n tyres  smile.gif
*
me too, i'm loving the car except for the FC...expect should be able to get 16-17km/l with my kind of "minor" jam since my friend myvi oso 13 14 like tat...end up same with him...

QUOTE(awiekupo @ Mar 6 2015, 11:43 PM)
btw, how come u got silverstone tyre? mine is hankook..
*
quoting from my SA, "we can't use only one type of tyre for every car. if that particular supplier/factory close down, then all cars cannot deliver coz no tyres"

QUOTE(MozillaChrome @ Mar 7 2015, 06:27 PM)

After more than 2 months owning E spec Axia, below are my verdicts:

Pros:
1. Manual Axia feels the same power as 1.3 auto Myvi but more fuel efficient!  rclxms.gif
2. Fuel efficent. Easily reaching 18++km/l. My best fuel consumption was 21++km/l. (Even for heavy footer like me)
3. Interior is big as myvi. Boot is more spacious than Myvi.

Cons:
1. When idle, air-cond fan sound is noticeble and can be annoying as it turns on and off every 3 seconds.
2. The gear sometimes hard to engage. Probably due to defected gear cable. (Haven't changed the cable, will ask SC during first inspection)
3. Sometimes feels powerful, sometimes not. (More powerful during early morning, but feels sluggish during hot weather).
*
u only feel axia same power as 1.3 myvi coz u straight road and only 1 person in car (or max 2) right?
u try go uphill or u have full 5 people in the car, then u'll notice the diff tongue.gif

correct right 97 feels that much indeed lol flex.gif

QUOTE(-PuPu^ZaPruD3r- @ Mar 15 2015, 09:45 AM)
A lot of ppl say pumping ron 97 is placebo effect..

Ron 97 definately is smoother n more powerful in pick up.. been filling up ron 97 since I got the car..

Try comparing shell 95 n bhp 97 smile.gif
*
i still haven't fully run yet. just pumped to full tank (added only 23litre) then straight went home.
means now got 10l 95 & 23l 97 inside rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

the feeling is definitely different, but for the better or the worse, will need to wait me drive till empty the tank first.
or maybe even until the 2nd tank since this tank the mixing ratio is really bad.

and also, if u never tried both on the same car before, u seriously have no right to judge anyone.
go ahead and try on both first, then gather ur data & experience only u judge. just saying, no offence intended icon_rolleyes.gif
