I read an article last year that says the average World of Warcraft (or was it Guild's War) player is a 28-year old male with Paladin character. I guess this year the average age is maybe 29-year old tongue.gif

Does anyone else think that Western countries have more old players?

I used to think that I will never get bored with games. That games are another form of entertainment. That games is a replacement for books because Final Fantasy series has a better storyline than any book!

I used to fight with my mom about how I play game day and night. In the end, she was right. I grew out of it. I started work and I get too tired to even go home and play game, do quest and missions and level ups. I end up just sit there, dead, watching anime and then sleep.

Games need too much brain power ler.

Eh... 25 already retire? Even my father in-law (55) will pick-up my gun-con and play time crisis each time he come to my home to visit his grandchilren and he's good at it.

Normal la little kids get the better of you. You don't play the games as much as they as we all have work, wife, social obligation, children, etc2 to handle. Plus sports to watch, newspaper to read. World event and politics to ponder. Even my wife is better than me in lots2 of games.

I think the moment you go from studying ==> work, you'll have changes in your gaming habits. When I studied, I had 4 consoles at one time + my PC, now when I'm working I barely have time to play on my 1 console (360)

It depends on the person....but for me, gaming is already part of who I am. I may reduce the amount of time I spend on gaming, but I doubt I'll stop gaming, ever smile.gif

You have a cool family!

27 yrs old here and 2 months to 28.....

I don't think I will stop playing game. Although I simmer down alot since last time. Now I can only get to play games on 12am to 2am coz before 12am gf wants to watch TV. On a good day I can start around 10pm. If I play until 2am next day super tired at work. But I still enjoy doing it.

I generally avoid playing RPG and MMORPG. Those games that will eat up tons of time. Except for final fantasy series la. The story is worth playing for.

I am in mid 30, already have a 9 years old daughter, somehow working. But still do gaming every day especially weekend.

It is actually depend on my work schedule, normally during weekdays, i just grap my psp and play about 15-30 min per session. On weekend im focusing on games that need more brain power.

In this age i guess portable machine is my first choice. I can bring it along with me and play when i feel like to. Haha at one time, when my student having exam, and i feel bored, i took out my nds and play infront of them.

Oh ya, i do rebut-rebut between my daughter and hubby for who get which machine to play games.

27 years old here, enjoy PS2, play less these days. Less than 10 hours per week. Last time crazy about it more than 5 hours per day, weekend 10+ hours tongue.gif
