Ok la, not as bad as it seems since it is to achieve damage as opposed to "sink". Cleveland and Nurnberg will be my top choices with their rapid firing guns

This "100,000 damage to destroyers" grind is getting very painful. Just managed to clear the half-way mark. Am getting worried about the "50,000 damage to carriers" mission, surely more painful.

Use DD for the 100k damage to DD mission. I completed it in 12 missions with my Mahan. Tonight, going to start the 50k damage on CV mission. As i dont play CV, this should be a grind

Hehehe....yeah, cant use Kamikaze. Playing with my Mahan now. So far, ZERO damage to CV because too preoccupied with other objectives or no CV in the battle sad.gif

Managed to do 21k of CV damage in my Mahan this evening. Too bad there was an enemy Atago nearby or I would have cause more damage to the CV.

On the German BB, hopefully they will be "tuned" after the public tests.

T7 is a nice sweet spot so, I may pull the trigger for the Scharnhorst. Although her guns are smaller caliber for a BB, they have very high ROF, making her quite a lethal cruiser hunter

The trick about playing a ship like the Scharnhorst is to be aware of your environment and to maintain as much angle as possible to your enemies. I will play her like how I play the Russian Budyonny.

Myoko mission completed. 12 point captain issued + 1 port slot and $$$ since I already have the ship.

Sadly during that last mission, I ter-sink a friendly DD. I am now pink, for the first time doh.gif

Strangely, i encountered the same yesterday. Playing Haruna, lost 3 games in a row because the team was just camping, including the DD. Logged off after that
