Detonated a Yamato from its full health + so many ships bunched together at cap The Kagero is a nice DD to play. My captain is skilled with torpedo acceleration, 20% less range but 5 knots faster torps |

Toying with the idea of getting a Sims too. Comparing the Sims to the Mahan:
PROS:
- faster (38.5 knots vs 35 knots)
- stock detectability better (7.3km vs 7.9 km)
- better ROF (18/min vs 15/min) and rotation speed
- more maneuverable
CONS:
- less HP (13800 vs 14100)
- One turret less (4 vs 5)
- only 2 torp tubes vs 3
As for the torps, not sure if I am reading it right but from wiki, Sims' torps are 55 knots with 5.5km range compared to Mahan's 55 knots with 9.2km range. Strangely, both are Mk15 mod 0. To me, this is the deal breaker

Been playing less lately, mostly BB. Have been expanding IJN BB line, have fully upgraded Kongo. Aim is to get a fully upgraded Nagato for Rank battles. A bit sien playing CA and DD already
