QUOTE(karom @ Sep 22 2007, 04:41 PM)
I think gaming mouse is good for beginner who try to get serious with gaming.

it is because beside FPS, RTS game also need precision in term of moving around the screen, drag, click and build and so on.

For me, having gaming mouse is very great once you get to know the game trick as you can further improve yourself better.

P/S: Racing wheel versus Keyboard in Simracing game with No AIDS is the best example.

gaming mouse good for beginners...? which beginner can afford a gaming mouse...? and precision is more needed in FPS games... in RTS... resposiveness is priority 1... which is y i prefer smoother mouse pad... icon_rolleyes.gif

and steering wheel has unfair advantage against keyboards... sweat.gif

i don't think unfair is the best word, why? using wheel on sim racing isn't easy to master as comparing to keyboard, i've done it, tested Momo and G25, doh.gif, it's not easy icon_idea.gif

GM-R03 is the best cheaper alternative and i don think the red grey design is gay... unsure.gif maybe the blue 1...
why R03 better than R04?? can explain a bit? not R04 better for gaming...actually i like the feeling when i try hold the R03...but the spec not as good as R04...can it(R03) fast shift between dpi??

While you can't do that on a keyboard, you can control degree of steering, acceleration and braking with a joypad like the x360 one. Anyway apologies for the OOT post.

IPS and lift up distance also factors to determine a good gaming mouse.
