yeah...u will notice the difference. it is not just i own it, and it must rock kind of mind set.
well, it is still personal preference. i needed the mouse to be comfortable, and giving me enough speed and accuracy at the same time. some of the mouse designs are so comfortable but the performance is not there.

like ellimist mentioned earlier, we do not have pro gamers in here. even if there is, that's like less than 10%. so it is still out of the question. even non-pro-footballers still by expensive football equipment right? therefore the same goes with gaming grade mouse or any other hardware. laugh.gif i just wanted to exclude those pro gamers statement to make things easier to understand/explain. hehehe...seems like its leading to OOT. tongue.gif

uber cool man. 3200 DPI laser technology, changeable shells (wide body kit for classic palm mouse feel, or slim finger control style like copperhead)

their mouse isn't small. it is meant for finger tip control (so called pro style brows.gif not from me, read from elsewhere). i skipped deathadder because it followed logitech's palm control (typical style).

but i can see G9 has a bright future because it includes both! and more bodykits to come. great news. combine logitech QC with finger tip control. yummy...drool.gif

Rubbish. Fingertip grip is a just a modern grip, just because it is used more often now compared to the classic palm.

well, it is what they called from one the G9 preview site. whistling.gif cool2.gif
still, i like fingertip control, or modern grip as you call it. that's why i didn't get the deathadder.

Marketing marketing.
I believe at least 75% ppl who games casually gets tricked into buying gaming mice just for that reason alone. =/
I myself use a mix between fingertip and palm. My whole palm sits over the mouse but my fingers are raised.
And I'm using an IE3 where the Deathadder got its body design from =p

yeah....some marketing gimick here. lol...tho i am not tricked into buying that. maybe its just me, but if you used copperhead (and you have long fingers) you will know what i mean.
my palm touches nothing...only my fingers are on the mouse. due to the low back/hull design of the CH. i'm able to lay my hand flat on the table. which reduces the stress.

i've been gaming 11 years where out of 10, i've used normal mouse from ms intelli, logitech and creative typical designed mouse. like you, my palm sits over and fingers raised. those gave me RSI after 6-10 hours non stop gaming everyday (if that's casual). but those were history. brows.gif still, everyone has their own preference. so as long as you feel comfortable with your mice, it's all good.

Wait,why can't u use fingertip control on a deathadder whistling.gif

i tried. because its butt is too high. unless you have ultra long fingers. laugh.gif

nope... try to click it harder... laugh.gif when u click gently only it will double click... it's an advantage when u r playing FPS... especially good old Quake 3 and UT Razer is more for FPS anyway... thumbup.gif
BS. you buy a RM200+ mouse which only could be clicked harder?
FYI, i click soft, hard, bam..the double click is still there. It is hardware issue, and razer should look into their QC.

isnt this thread about gaming mouse? lol...no need to change unless u feel uncomfortable. the mantis is huge and very smooth...a bit smoothier than my RM10 cloth pad. because of the fibertrek thingy i guess. and it made almost no noice because the gaps between the cloth lines are kinda minimal.
