Just for updates, I bought my oven in Feb. I finally chose a brand and ironically it wasn't in my wish list, the Belling BI60MF. It was on promo and I love the fact that it is direct from the UK and carries a 5 year warranty (2 from the manufacturer and 3 from the local store). It was on promo price and I find it reasonably priced.

Have yet to install it so can't really share any experiences with it yet.

Hi Shereen. Good day! Wondering how's your Belling Oven works so far. Any feedback that you can share with me, as i am recently looking for built-in oven as well. Thanks!

Any good brands or models to recommend?

Is anyone using a 2in1 microwave and oven? Not sure if this is recommended or is it better to get separate units?

Gone through the thread and saw mostly recommend Electrolux or Belling brand, any other brand that is also good?

Around 1k? I am not sure if I can get a decent one around this price range. Feel free to suggest a better one. I can go as high as 2k.

This one not bad but a bit underpowered.

This is a good one, recently provided one for a rental condo and seems to work quite well according to the tenant that mostly uses it to reheat pizzas.

Any thoughts on these 2 built-in oven models? Low on budget.

Rubine RBO-LAVA-70SS
Elba EBO-J7360(SS)

Or any other good ones below 1.1k?

A triple glass door will always be better than a double glass one.

Midea has one that is pretty decent for the price and I was told by the electrical shop that it is more powerful than many of the European brands as it is 3000W where most of the European and Malaysian ones are 2500-2800W.

The other one worth looking at is Beko, becoming well established in this country and quite reasonably priced.

Thanks. Beko is slightly over budget, but i'll see how later. Not gonna use the oven frequently. Maybe just once a week. Midea one like not many seller from what i searched.

Most ovens in Malaysia are used less than once per month.

does anyone know if this is truly a combination of both "oven" and "microwave"? and can it be used as a "built-in" unit?

Hi, need some advice here. Currently looking at Sharp AX1350VMK and Panasonic NU-SC180BMPQ. Both are steam oven but latter one is cheaper with smaller size. The price difference is RM500 only (based on current promotion price). Any user of these oven here? Your experience is much appreciated. Thanks.

Buy the bigger one.
There is nothing more useless than an oven that is so tiny that it cannot fit a whole chicken, turkey, or cake. Unless its just for instaworthy display and not for actual usage, or just used for small scale baking cookies/cake only.

Zanussi oven also big size available - 56L for RM1100 https://shopee.com.my/ZANUSSI-BUILT-IN-OVEN...4861.4954944032
Elba one also available for RM860 - https://shopee.com.my/ELBA-Built-In-Oven-(5...4861.3342038179

Have a 52L (standalone not built in) one myself and its great for the price and capacity, handles anything I throw inside.

I’m using beko oven, but different model. So far the oven has been serving me well. Built quality is solid too. It’s worth for the price that I am paying. I haven’t had the chance to use their after sales service yet, hope it’s good too
