QUOTE(Tavia88 @ Jul 23 2015, 08:54 PM) You can say so, as you will get back 3% when developer do the first claim from your bank. This is where you start serving your progressive interest too. So the 3% you can use it to serve the progressive interest. So consider RIBS/DIBS/XXBS or whatever you name. Get it? |

Differentla boss... the 3% is discount. As total discount is 10%. So you cant take the 3% and treat it to pay progressive interest and name it as dibs. If such then its only 7% nett discount. Got it?So the 3% you can use it to serve the progressive interest. So consider RIBS/DIBS/XXBS or whatever you name. Get it? Dibs means developer bear all the interest during the constructions period and u can cash out the 3% discount then doesnt need to serve any installment for interest during the constructions period. The way you construed dibs is totally a misrepresentation. Can said as marketing gimmick...lols.. |

Dibs means developer bear all the interest during the constructions period and u can cash out the 3% discount then doesnt need to serve any installment for interest during the constructions period. The way you construed dibs is totally a misrepresentation. Can said as marketing gimmick...lols.. As this 3% is a credit note (cash) that you will get back on hand. So it's up to you to treat it as discount, or rebate, or RIBS, or whatever XXBS as you wish. I just explaining what other people use with the 3%. Hope My statement is clear and didn't misleading anyone here. |

It will confuse many people. Some even call developer and ask for it already. |

DIBS had banned. (Developer paid the interest to particular bank on buyer behalf).. Now new trend. Coming new property the developer (Especially young developer) will offer "ang pao"(formerly RIBS) (Developer paid the money to owner and owner paid the interest to bank individually. Offer like (9%+1% )snp+(1%+2%+3%)during construction stage+1%vp
