Been a player since end 2013.
But at 6k games only..
Don't have that much time..
Old unker here leh..
My son is better at wot than me.
But I have more scout and patrol medals than him..
Have to work and cari makan ler..
Still at low tiers.. Max is tier 6 even though I have the lttb and the walker bulldog.
Free xp those 2 tanks in the 9.18 bump up.
Dont want to go too high cos my inexperience will be a liability to the team..
Play mainly LT tanks.

That's one of the main reasons that keep me from playing high tier LTs...
Sweet spot for Lt is tier 4 and 7 imo..
Especially the T71 Da.
Tier 5 and 6 got nerfed real bad...

Me too, a casual gamer and I only play wot.
But u need to spend Atleast rm50+ to get 3k gold, then from there exchange to freexp to get 6th sense in ur best crew or crew of your preferred type, ie. Ht, MT, TD, Spg.
6th sense not as important for Ht, or Spg, imo.

I'm a Lt player and 6th is important.

I guess a good question is which line to start grinding that will best teach u the game and is noob friendly.

i think russian Ht are still the best for new players to learn the game...
more forgiving...

i havent touched MT,HT, TD or spg in like,... 2+ years, and played with someone in the training room..
kv1 vs kv1...
the other fella has 2k+ games (47% win rate) and i have 6k games (51% winrate)
and he trampled over me in a minute... LOL
so embarrassing...

practice makes perfect...

the rest of the training was about view range, where to cross/move safely from spotters like me...
and the TDs behind me..

but these tactics only work in tier 1-5, mabbe 6 &7, after that, most players shud have the prescience to know better...

different types of tanks require different type of skills..
what i was trying to stress in my earlier comment of me doing badly in HTs.
and with it, a different mind set.
after my humbling experience with a noobie with a HT (and i have a radleys with that kv1, way back in end 2014 or 2015), i find that we all have our preference and specialisation.

I think the setting up of a server in HK or China is to add the Chinese players into the rest of SEA server or mabbe like their RU server stand alone.
I've been in the training ground section where lots of 'newbies' are actually seasoned Chinese players checking out wot 1.0 since they're not getting the 1.0 love..

Their ping is in the region of 400 to 600.
Not fun at all.

That's a big market for wargaming.

In fact they even brought back the M10 German /American tier 7 medium tank.
Which has PMM.
and it goes all the way to the matildas at tier 5.
And let's not forget the stat padding B2 at tier 4.
Yeah..
I too have stopped spending money cept for gold in this game.
Even when the AMX 13 57 and the black dog came in sale, I didn't pull the trigger, mainly cos time to play but direction of game play ranks a very high second.
Let's see where it goes.

But all told, I had 3 rounds in today and its still fun..
