Will existing VIP10 users who are paying RM199 monthly have their bill automatically reflected with new RM179 monthly or we'll have to terminate and resubscribe?
*
They should reduce all Unifi price packages now since 30 and 50mb is launch.

Unifi called and offer me an upgrade to from 5MB to 10MB package @ Rm169. My binding contract already long over. Not sure if it will bind me to a new contract or not.

Should I take the upgrade? Or cut this off and get the 30MB package instead? I'm looking to upgrade my internet speed anyway.

Also will the 30MB package have usage cap?
*
Take the 30MB if is available in ur location..10MB nowadays is nothing much.

yes i hope for this thing as well...clearly stated in the bill the RM30 discount..so by right ppl like us who've already been getting the discount should get lower price than the new RM179..
*
You mean for 10MB and which month bill shows RM30 discount?

Guys,

Is it really important to upgrade to 30 or 50MB since Unifi has launch.

Currently on Unifi 10MB tempting to upgrade to 30MB.

Only available at exchange

Duta
Serdang
Damansara
Puchong
Kepong
Shah Alam
TTDI
Subang

U get async upload speed 5Mbps with extra 10% buffer for UniFi 30 / 8Mbps with extra 10* for buffer for UniFi 50.

U pay RM199 excluding GST for 30 and RM 229 excluding GST for 50. No IPTV if u go for this.
*
Extra 10% buffer meaning the speed is it.

i think almost similiar to Streamyx.when u subscribe to 1Mbps...actually they give u 1.5Mbps...sumthin like that.

35Mbps/6Mbps for UniFi 30 and 56Mbps/11Mbps for UniFi 50. thumbup.gif
*
Current Unifi 10MB and 20MB not extra buffering?

owh come on...don't trust the sales people.  brows.gif of coz they will say like that for commissions.

if u can upgrade seamlessly from VIP 5 to 10 or 20 why can't 30 ? can do this online summore....

actually their system need to replace the speed profile only and then update the billing system. whistling.gif
*
oh ok...looks like just hang around for sometime im sure they will revised back all the Unifi prices and hopefully can get cheaper price for Unifi 30MB soon..

Actually a lot of ppl say 10MB is more than enough for home user why you need 30MB...lol

Available ports.. there's a chance you get screwed (no ports) if they terminate current account and you sign up again.
Good to know
Of course that should be the case... but we all know TM doesn't make sense right? smile.gif

The 30Mbps package interests me... I'm on 5Mbps plan anyway so moving from 5/5 to 30/5 is a net win tongue.gif
*
if you download a lot of stuff than its really worth it switching to 30MB.

I dont think PC games need huge upload.. games need quality upload.. latency to the servers more important than upload bandwidth..

TM start to follow European country that offer lower upload.. thats in term technical lorr.. not the price.. they do not want mass consumer to host a server anymore.. maybe..

For me.. i dont care about upload... my daughter and son only want to stream video.. youtube..
*
Upload is very important if you are hosting servers...but looking at speed than 30 and 50MB is sufficient enough now days.
