@lyndanielow I'm based in the UK atm. However we don't get any discounts on Rolex and have to pay the full whack at £5500 (about RM 30k)

Really tempted with the new Explorer 2016 and the AirKing. Can't decide between both. I know the airking is a bit of a marmite but still pretty cool nevertheless.

Just pulled the trigger on one. Will post some pics tmrw when I get better light.

There's a price increase of 10% across all range in the UK as of Tuesday. It has been quite a frenzy here as most shops are out of stock on popular models. vmad.gif

I went to my local AD again on the weekend and spotted the Exp II both in white & black. The black face was exactly what I was looking for and it does look smaller on the wrist. It's also a lot more inconspicuous without drawing much attention. I do find the second time zone a great feature and not having to refer to my phone all the time. Love the orange hand, I could just stare at it all the time. Somehow it reminds me of Omega blink.gif

So here it is, very pleased with the purchase. They even offered a bottle of bubbly to go with it. cheers.gif

I spotted a Pepsi in store and just had to try it out. At £22k, it's a bit too much. However it has been a good day out.

thanks smile.gif yeah I'm in the UK and just about got in before the price increase. It varies but afaik the EXII has gone up 11%.

Not sure if it's cheaper but I think it should be relatively cheap since the £ has weakened.

How much are the EXII in Msia anyway?

unfortunately no tax back for me as I've been staying here too long.

@r3kahsttub It's a bit cheaper here then. Got mine at £5350 but it has been said it's now £5950. Probably more in line with prices everywhere. Do you guys get any freebies with it? I'd rather have a polishing cloth, watch pouch etc than a bottle of Moet, I don't drink anyway :/

Took out my magnifier last night and spotted the etching on the glass. I thought it was pretty cool

Quite hard to see with the naked eye. Almost impossible for me.

Have been travelling to HK for business for over 10 years now but weren't taking notice of watches/Rolex until I got into it recently. It's hard not to miss an AD at every corner of the city. Thought I'd share some photos taken about 2-3 weeks ago.

A short 3 hour stop over in Dubai airport. They had the DeepSea Blue, apparently a customer had cancelled the order. I did try it on but it's too big for my wrist. The BLNR was in stock as well but not on the spot. Had to give it all a pass since it's a bit more expensive than the UK plus CC charges.

ADs everywhere in HK but non of the popular SS available.

Greys are better stocked

I happened to chance upon some smaller second hand shops in TsimTsaTsui.
Prices seemed to be much better.
