not interested in rolexes anymore, gave my relatives the option. Same day he bought the corum and instantly the next day told him to go collect his pepsi.

another friend bought the frank muller and got the starbucks too.

as of now, these 2 brands carries the highest "purchasing history spent" value to value. hence a 50k spent on corum is strong than a 100k spent on iwc+zenith + etc etc

Was in Haneda Airport last week. Visited the Rolex boutique,126331 Wimbledon dial were sales at retail. Bought it. Now wondered should i wear it or store it.

any deposits require when put name in dealer waiting list?

Never been to one, but I wanted to know if this 'rumor' is true. Like if you are going into their boutique in say, KLCC, you'd be going into an empty shop ? Because ALL customers are to be vetted, and orders are to be placed pre-ordered ? Like say if there's watches displayed on the counter also only dummies where one could 'expect' from the real watch.

Anyone care to confirm / contradict this ? I will have think it applies for the more sought-after models, but with Rolex, surely it means all ?

When I asked the Rolex AD in KLIA some time last year, they were still operating off the standard wait list-relationship based model, and not first come first serve.
Not sure how it works when you get the call - got to buy a plane ticket just to collect a watch?

Changi said they were first come first serve, but the few times I was there, they only had exhibition models.
