Itching to start a planted aquarium... Been reading, watching youtube... browsing.... and today visiting some aquascape shop in Bangi...

When come to experience... I starting freshwater aquarium around 15 years ago... then koi pond about 4 years before I have to move out of Seremban due to career change... so I understand biological filteration, water parameters for freshwater fish aquarium...

So now, I'm living in 900sqft 2 bedroom apartment in JB (working in JB but wife n kids in Semenyih) I want to kill boredom living 5 days a week in JB by starting a small planted aquarium...

I would love to have aquascape with lotsa carpet grass. Is it difficult for beginner? Looking at Fluval flex or maybe I just started cheap by buying pieces.

Problem is I can't find aquascape aquarium shop in JB. So sourcing for aquatic plant should be difficult... I saw a lot of seller in Lelong selling aqua plant including grass seeds... maybe I should start by growing grass seeds first then adding other plant?

just a lotsa things cross my mind... any advise really appreciated
