Btw, any tips on selecting a cat to adopt other than the usual (active, bright eyed, etc)? Also, anyone know where I can go to adopt a rescued cat, etc?

The dry food; I can only find these two available where I live.
I've fed my male cat RC's version & he's okay with it but lately there's no stock - only Nature Protection's version available.

Hey everyone~ Anyone know where i can get a whole carton / box of wet food? Whiskas will be alright.

my newly adopted kitten can only take 80% wet food mixed with 20% pre-soften kibbles, more kibbles and she will puke them out already.

that's about RM1.57 per pouch. Last time I bought at Tesco Shah Alam, they are selling whiskas any type at RM10 for 8 pouch, cheapest I could find. I think iinm the promo is till June.

Rather interested if anyone could share if we could bought them in bulk / wholesale price.

found and adopted a kitten about 3 weeks ago.

This poor kitten was super lucky because he was in the middle of the road and by the time i pass-by, he was actually underneath my car (not sure how many cars before me) and immediately stopped my car roadside and witnessed few cars almost ran over this poor kitten. Picked him up and put inside my car as the mother was not near my sight (as i am rushing to workplace as well). 

i will continue later for what i have done within this 3 weeks as i am first time being a pet owner/owned.

well officially 3 weeks taking care this kitten. As i am new to cat, do a lot of studies and also checked this topic occasionally.

bought:
1) litter box x 2 with clumping clay type, scoop and etc relevant to litter
2) single level cage but not too small size (put 1 litter box, food&water tray, 1 container as his bed)
3) food, Blackwood kitten
4) small toy and cushions for him at this favourite spots

we thought he was not familiar with litter box for peepoo and even tried to stimulate his anus 
that's why so happy to see him pee and poo in the litter box after we prepared for him. However was once poo on the floor maybe because of diarrhea. Sometimes poo near to the edge of litter box as well. But we are fine because no pee poo other than litter boxes.

Bought BW kitten to him after finished the RC 'Recovery' and he likes it very much. No wet food since then and texture of poo is ok and good flow. He did poo frequently (more than 6 times a day) during full wet food and therefore vet suggested to feed him only dry food during the 2nd vet visit.

For the first few days, we let him roam around if we at home and caged him during our outing. We monitored over a weekend to check his behavior and found out he was not happy with cage. He bite the cage, climbed up and down inside. However he did good outside the cage and thus we decided to let him free even no people at home. Cage is just for night sleeping time.  For the past 2 weeks, he is totally OK! No mess and damage to the home.

Anyway, he is super active and playful. Likes to bite our foot and hands. i guest he is just too small to stay calm and chill. Brought a lot of laughter to us and we are happy with his presence

Future plan, feed him well then get him vaccinated and will arrange neutering whenever the time is right. 

Day 1

yeah so much fun. but foot and hands scratches a lot. Sometimes even bleed.
not sure when he will stop and soften the biting.

Went for 1st vaccination last Sat. Weight almost double compared to 2 weeks ago (currently weight around 850g).

Tapeworm found in stool and vet fed him tablet type deworming. Spray him Frontline on the furr as well.

yeah. thinking to get a nail clipper. So many around. but still hesitating as after trimmed, nail is still sharp.
a lot of noises made when he bites but still no sign of slowing down. i guess not applicable to all cats. 
Sometimes we will wear winter glove and let him get use to it and now he will bite it when we toss to him.

update after neutered

he reacted very fierce and frustrated during my collection at the Vet clinic. I guess he was so scared and helpless in the clinic (surrounded by barking dogs and different scent). Tears coming out from his eyes.
When the clinic helpers were trying to get him out from the cage, he was uncontrollable even me and my wife tried to comfort him. Experienced helpers covered him with few cloths and push him into the carrier.
Once he got into the carrier, he was still scared but no more fierce and silent all the way to the home. We dare not to touch him even transferred him to the cage (by just opened the carrier in the cage and he walked out from the carrier after awhile).

Well.....he was just behaved different in about 30minutes and back to normal after that. Of course he was not able to walk properly and we decided to let him in the cage for hours.

The next morning, surprisingly he was back to normal and already able to run here and there. We were so scared the wound will have problem. He is not the caged-type cat and put him inside the cage is like torturing him. He is now 100% OK even just had operation less than 48hrs 

toys for cats? dont even bother..
they might play it once or twice.. and thts it..

if you can breed your own cockroaches..  tht is one of the cats best toy, release one roach a day inside the room with the cat.. LoL...

Hello, I recently noticed about 2 days ago there's an orange tabby meowing in front of my office. Today when I came in late to the office due to jam, the shop has opened so I managed to buy him food. He was meowing again in front of my office at the pedestrians. He looked chubby but he was so hungry as well when he gobbled the food down.

I saw that his fur is relatively clean and he has his left ear tipped and also double checked his butt to see that he has been neutered.  He has spent time in front of my office in the morning, sleeping under a car parked there in the afternoon and nowhere to be found in the evening.

I would like to take him back because if he is being abandoned I'm afraid he wouldn't survive too long on his own. But I'm also afraid that he is just the community cat and enjoys the outdoor. I was wondering if he is being abandoned or lost or just a community cat? How can I tell? Should I take him home?
