you should try cushion shops, you know, those cushion shops for cars and so on?

my dad went and bought some from that place and they sold him an [around] 8ft x 4ft piece for RM5 or something biggrin.gif

look for the really really soft type!

I use a similar stuff like this, Insuflex.

a few usage for it.

1. Heat
2. Sound Dampening.

I use it on my Car, i have it fixed on the floor, on the roof on the firewall and doors.

it insulates the sound a bit, but a real difference was in the temp.
During hot days, i dunt feel the heat that much inside the car, especially in the afternoon.

So i can imagine if you guys/gals use this inside a pc casing, not will it insulate the sound, but also heat. it will keep heat inside the case.

Good Luck. biggrin.gif

I'd say, just use those CM UV SIlent Fans... im using those on my 24/7 rig, so i can sleep and still Download ... ehehe...

you can try using powerful fans with VR. that way you can slow down the speed when you want to sleep and max tune it when you're using.

i've been insulating my every pc since 2003 till now .. i've no problem with heat as long as u know how to cool up ur casing.

do a search on my me in this casemodding section & u'll see few rigs i do up are all sound insulated inside ..
