link above .... last few pictures show more sound insulated area.

its black & highly condensed. got them from Car HiFi shop ... cost around RM 20-30 for the whole casing to fully do up ..

sacrificing some air intake area for silence. smile.gif

the kick is to redue the sound with quite powerful fans ..

if ur system already has good cooling, good ambient,

then sacrificing 2-3C is worthy .. in my opinion.

my pc internal ambient runs at around 36-38C without A/C on ..
but i like it quieter smile.gif

With sound insulation, on watercooling for CPU only.

Opteron 146 OC @ 3.0ghz

Full tower, side panel closed with Air-Con turn on after few hours. rclxm9.gif


Didn't have pic for my rig yet cos digital cam not at home now.

dont exagerate leh ... sound insulating ur casing not always trap heat wat ..

i've been insulating my every pc since 2003 till now .. i've no problem with heat as long as u know how to cool up ur casing.

do a search on my me in this casemodding section & u'll see few rigs i do up are all sound insulated inside ..
