Nevermind, I resetted my Diamond (again
 ) and started with Vanilla.I started with the monkey since I have Manaphy. Usually I'd start with the water type tho. |

When you complete the game (beat the Elite Four + Champion), you will have opened up an option to transfer your GBA Pokemon to D/P called Pal Park.
