speaking from own experience, i think its more painful than tattoo, as in the healing process. cant talk/eat properly. have to really take care of it to avoid infection. it was really an annoying period for me. there were times when i regretted getting it. if u dont have the patience then its not a good idea.

however when all the healing is done...u'd be damn happy with it! its a damn cool piercing

1. a lot of shops..dragonfly, inked, tribal body, zoo body art. i got mine from inked at sunway
2. yes..dragonfly. for piercing i think its ok.
3. ranges from rm100-120 or more depending on the jewellery u choose.
4. clean it everytime u bath, do not tug at it. do not eat seafood n eggs to avoid infection (but some ppl dony care and ntg happen. it depends on ur body as well)
5. erm, how high is ur pain tolerance? some said its not, but for me it was painful for that split second when the needle pierced thru. navel piercing takes abt half a year to heal.
6. no such thing!

cheaper ma.......and that time i didnt know the existence of needles. that was 4-5 years ago. now i dont care abt my ear piercings edi. only wearing 1 stud on my right earlobe. wtf like a guy only. i think the 2 main earlobe one still open but im not so sure :\

no more piercings for me...

but tattoos.. thr are so many tattoos i wanna get! have to give up on my bday tatt at the moment due to financial constraint. hoping to get a half sleeve in the future

the piercing process is quick and painless. but the healing process is painful in the sense that you will have trouble eating and the burning sensation that can get quite annoying.

my friend's, done at inked yesterday.

inked is located at sunway metro. those shophouses nearby the one academy. the artist is kadazan.

@cplow1: i do not know the meaning behind his tattoo..didnt bother to ask. heh. i'm sure he has his reason for choosing the letter roman 2, tho.

but for me its not necessary to have a meaning behind each tatt. i have 2 tatts (or 1, cos its combined into 1 eventho done at 2 diff times) one is my name n the other one is a snake. why snake? i also dunno. it was random. i have some ideas of wat i wanna do in the future, and they are all random with no specific meanings to me. tattoo to me is just a type of art. its tat simple.

nowadays tattoo studios are getting better already - well at least those i've been to. for example, Inked is very well equipped and very very clean.

all my frens who've been thr said it's more like a lounge, with the dim lightings at reception/waiting area and comfortable couches and nice decor. oh ya, they also have a pool table for u to kill time while waiting.

that's nice. im sure snakes have alot of meanings but those are not why i chose to do it. I was watching tv one day and i just decided 'ok thats it, i'm gonna tattoo a snake' and tadaa, there it is. haha but tats just me.

saru88: maybe u could go talk to ur artist first. its always good to discuss the design with ur tattoo artist cos they're the creative ones and may be able to give u some good suggestions n then design it for u.

i kinda like the blackjack idea - but not so much on the design u chose tho. maybe can improvise a bit?

im super depressed now. all my piercings are removed due to a surgery. (by all i mean my navel and tongue)

and my mom finally found out all my secret piercings and after i removed them she forbade me to re-pierce them. this is depressing.

i've put the navel piercing back on, but its still red n hurts a bit now...so im taking real good care of it. as for the tongue piercing, it closes up pretty damn fast. for some people it closes within hours. i havent tried putting it back on but the hole seems to be gone already.
