You are missing the point. Whether or not the card performs great for its price, that's a different story.
Nvidia is being sued for the gimping of the last 0.5GB, not because of the card's performance as a whole. People are upset about the last 0.5GB VRAM and people are angry about Nvidia not being truthful WHEN ASKED innitially. Remember, it took them nearly a week to come out with a simple report.
970 performs great? Sure. Numbers hasn't changed, that's true. No one is angry about that.
not sure what u guys do for a living.I have seen so many heinous acts in banking/retail etc in the world that drastically affects a human beings live. Yet ppl are so ignorant about it.Nvidia is being sued for the gimping of the last 0.5GB, not because of the card's performance as a whole. People are upset about the last 0.5GB VRAM and people are angry about Nvidia not being truthful WHEN ASKED innitially. Remember, it took them nearly a week to come out with a simple report.

And one thing in big corporation when a mistake is made. Find the fault, audit the issue and then come out with a reply. Its not a one man show. The issue is not big enough for everybody in the company to stop working and come out with a next day reply. I guess a lot of you havent reached to a position of authority yet and see legal issues etc.
Lets see what the court sees. Doubt it will ever be a jury trial ( Quoting from legal knowledge of the US by watching Suits)
But truly its those who slied the card expecting good performance for 4k etc.. is the one thats really got a lot to complain about on that vram limitation.
