Sounds about right to me for the Leadtek coolers. They aren't the most efficient to be honest.

You can remove the temp limit, power limit and boost limit by modding the vbios.
You can remove the fps cap;
Go to Batman Arkham Knight\BmGame\ Config\BmSystemSettings.ini
Find MaxFPS=30 set to 60 or 120.

Don't set higher than 120, the game will crash. I tried it.

The framerate only automatically uncap itself when you are running the in-game benchmark. It's like a sick joke or something, damn stupid. I have no idea why WB decided to hand the PC version over to High Voltage Studio, the same monkeys who ported the broken MKX on PC.

are you running those games on a SSD? does it do anything in terms of reducing stutter or is it solely on the GPU issue?

i need a some advice, i just pre-ordered 980ti, and i aiming to 4k gaming, mostly played FPS and RPG like GTA, Witcher 3....etc.
I am surveying a 4K monitor, or TV.
But i found out a 4k TV at 40inch just around RM2k- 3k.
Instead, a 4k gaming monitor can cost the same price but smaller screen (27").

May i know whats the major difference if i buy the 4K tv instead of 4K monitor?
Which one should be good for gaming and viewing experince?

dunno about you but playing on big screen TV compared to a monitor I  feel more immerse compared to a monitor .
980ti still can la at 4k but dont expect ultra settings . Probably have to turned off AA (which have no point at 4k) and some other settings

Yeah , yeah what the point buying 4k if you going to tone down the settings might as well play at 1080p .

I think there are 2 sides to the coin on this.

I cannot for the life of me, enjoy racing games on a TV. Just doesn't work, it's not immersive and it's not... nice at all. But on the other hand, I don't like playing Witcher 3 on the monitor, even though I'm using a 27-incher and I sit 2 feet away from it at most. Just lazing down on a couch makes it better.

AA is needed on 4k man. I have no idea who started the idealogy that 4k = AA disabled because no point. That's just wrong.

But is more expansive RM400-500, and no G-Sync (Acer one got).

Can i conclude your word like below:

4k is good reso, but is not that impressive under low frame rate (<60fps, since my single GPU wont do that).
But at this point, a G-sync monitor shall smoothen the frame rate at 4k (like Acer XB280HT), am i right?

As a current powerful single GPU may can push over 60fps on QHD reso, a 2k monitor with high refresh rate and g-sync
will giving a more smooth, and outstanding gameplay experience (Asus PG278Q) if compare back to 4k at <60 fps.

So just choose between, High Reso or High Framerate (middle reso), am i get into the concept?
