QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Jun 24 2015, 08:28 PM) http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardw...arrives-21.html So it lags behind the 980Ti and the Titan X is some games, but outperforms both cards in other games? Only reviewer worth reading Conclusion. Something off with oc3d crysis 3... Anyway dont like him. So dont bother The card trades blows with 980ti n is king for Fc4, acu, .. ( both has amd tesselation optimised drivers.. So lol.. We know that from 390x drivers.. They reduced the tessalation.. So not apple to apple) Thief, Metro LL Suprise it can do 4k. Now just have to see gamers actualy performance whether there is stutter. Interesting nonetheless, considering it is the first card to use HBM... Also one thing - it looks like the Fury X isn't really a good overclocker... This post has been edited by chocobo7779: Jun 24 2015, 08:50 PM |

Tomshardware does good power consumption measurements
interesting to see that Fury X uses 220+ watts only. better than 980 Ti. |

So the conclusion is:
Solid card, but isn't particularly impressive, though it's pretty nice to see some new tech on the table. This post has been edited by chocobo7779: Jun 24 2015, 08:56 PM |

i would say 980Ti = R9 Fury X in terms of performance.
Both may have different values in other department, in terms of acoustic, power consumption, form factor etc. I would go for Fury X if im looking at the performance alone. But as im seeking different values, i would hold my purchase for new GPU. |

Beats both the Titan X and GTX980Ti in a few games, loses out to the Titan X and GTX980Ti in some games.
I wonder what will be the reaction of people who just bought the R9 Fury X lol. |

Still it would be very interesting to see how the card 'grows' over time - as more software and driver optimizations are applied on this card. AMD GPUs tend to age very well - their cards can be quite competitive performance-wise even though the architecture themselves are pretty old. |

Don't care much about the performance, it perform as it is supposed to. Just want to get the card because of the concept, technology and innovation behind it.
