My take:

Bellerin as 2nd choice RB, no excuses Wenger. (1st choice for the remaining this season since debubu out 3 months)

Chambers should complete his transformation as a CB, to replace Per ONLY. So means we still need to spend $ to get someone to back up Kos.

COQ is solid. Not just solid solid, it's the kind of I-will-fk-you-up-like-tonyadams/keown-if-you-defend-sloppily-solid.

We have our little mozart and little magician back!
With that said, Ozil can continue warming the bench. Maybe sell him off while he's still rather 'hot' property.

Ospina > Szczesny all day errday.

With that said. Credit goes to Wenger as well. He had a Plan B today and departed from his usual ways.

and finally with all said and done, we need consistency with this kind of performance.

We have been very very inconsistent in the past seasons. We usually have a few good run of matches, then after that returning to same old same old.

So yes, brilliant performance today. Wenger did well today. But let's hope we do this week in week out, not just once every few matches.

COYG.

Hope Liverpool also lose later tongue.gif.

If United do make it through, then I would hope for a 2005 FA Cup final repeat. Of course hopefully the result also must be a repeat tongue.gif

Hope can see Akpom play more than 10 minutes at least later.
*
Based on his performances today, damn, he's so f***ing selfish. Like wtf dude. Fking pass the ball you asswipe instead of trying to impress. Sanchez was in such a good & clear position. Fking facepalm.

QUOTE(HiperPanda @ Jan 26 2015, 01:05 AM)
Dayum..look like we gonna have fierce competition for 2nd RB for next season.
Chambers have good crossing, Bellerin superb pace, and Jenkinson getting better n more comfident.

I wonder if Bellerin could develop n improve his ball control n dribbling, with his pace he could be d true heir of Ljundberg.
*
Err, no. Chambers can never be a decent RB. Bellerin/Jenkinson > Chambers.

No one picked out Monreal for that second goal? hmm.gif why all szczesny? Flamini defend so deep. He was like our third centerback. The first goal Flamini was weak. No tackle whatsoever. Chambers also at fault there. He should head the ball clear. No need to bring the ball down.

Aiya,he Manuel Nauer wanna be,sweeper keeper mah,3 years later he reach ballon d or,possibly beat neurr and win it

It's no coincidence when Martinez/Ospina plays we get clean sheets.

BTW, FACT: Szczesny haven't kept a clean sheet since the start of November.

Oh well, at least he gets to show off his bpl golden gloves trophy on Insta. Prolly his first and last time winning it.

QUOTE(Thumpy Ick @ Jan 26 2015, 02:05 AM)
slow down on akpon, it's an FA cup tie, he's young. he got excited and wanted to have a shot on the goal. not saying he shouldnt pass to alexis, but in his case it's understandable. youngster with little experience.
*
Very rash indeed. It was also 2-3 times he was so selfish. BUT anyway, he looks like a pretty good prospect. Just his young immature mentality got in the way of his game today.

Dear Kucing,

atm....hard to say if Ozil is a complete flop,
last season he mustered about 5 goals and 10 assist, doesn't justify his price tag but not to shabby for a debut season
this season he is plague with injuries only 7 appearance out of the 20 plus games,

so you wanna compare the above with a Torres that did 5 year at Chelsea with only a total of 20 league goals?
Yours Truly,
hoping si kucing to sober up to stop making lousy comparison  sad.gif

Welcome, Gabriel!

and good luck to Joel Campbell during loan with Villarreal.

Additional: Campbell signed a new contract with Arsenal before moving out on loan.

Rumours by French newspaper that we are trying to sign Lloris in the summer. And it is also understood that the player wants Champions League football. But could be hard due to rivalry..

If the rumours are true, then is it goodbye Szczesny?

Well, I would think Szczesny would be the one out and not Ospina. IF it were to happen. It's just rumours anyway..
