Hello guys, I have some questions about hsbc premier money transfer.

I have a Malaysian hsbc premier account which I then used to make a uk hsbc premier account

When trying to send money to the UK account using global transfer, it says I can’t send it to myself because it is my own account and I need to transfer using other ways

The only other option I found was the telegraphic transfer, and when I did this they charged me for the transfer even when I was trying to transfer gbp to myself in my own hsbc account

I have transferred to 3rd party hsbc with no fee, how can I do this when transferring to my own account ?

Any advice would be welcomed

Helloo, is anyone having issue with Netflix payments? I pay in MYR and the past 2 months the automatic payments keep failing and I have to manually go into Netflix website and pay using the same card.

No OTP asked when I pay manually too

I’m using HSBC premier world Mastercard and have a lot of other automated payments going through as normal, only Netflix fails and I keep getting unsuccessful transactions sms from hsbc.

Anyone has had their card suspended recently without any explanation, sms or email or call or anything?

I am in the USA, using HSBC credit cards for subway and everything else payment using apple pay

Suddenly all of got notification from apple that says card has been suspended, and then removed from apple wallet.

I called hsbc and they said it was suspended because my credit card details have been compromised, but there have been no suspicious transactions according to them. it was a proactive suspension, without informing me.

just imagine if i was overseas and hsbc is the only card i have, zero alert is what pisses me off the most

before leaving for the usa i told them already we as a family will be there, and all actively using the card

3 cards from same account, all supplementary hsbc premier cards were suspended

so weird, just wish cimb will enable apple pay soon, they have never declined a purchase of mine anywhere in the world

Yes I did inform them 🥲🥲 I used the app and I even called just to make them make sure

As we were using public transport, I wanted to use apple’s express travel feature in Washington and New York, didn’t want to keep taking out wallets and credit cards in middle of crowded and scary looking subway stations

Ended up needed to do that only with CIMB preferred that never once got blocked 😂😂

But I don’t remember paying extra 10k for the card so I guess it stayed ?

Takkan bank with reputation such as HSBC doing this kind of illegal activities right

Also I’ve never seen anyone doing illegal money transfer by sending money to the credit card instead of account haha
