New to hsbc -
RM50 once activate with swipe
RM150 when spend RM1200 within 60 days

Hsbc rewards highest will be participate malls like
ONE UTAMA / MIDVALLEY GARDEN ETC.
Rewards around 1.04% with mall spends
The rest of the spend is pretty low

I got a credit card in the HSBC bank that I didn’t go and retrieve, and of course I never activate it. Should I call to cancel it or just leave it be until it auto cancels itself?

CALL AND CANCEL IT

this will be captured in the system and recorded in your conversation with CS

you dont want hsbc come back to bite your arse many years later for the card issued to you... let unactivated or auto-activated without your knowledge

Alright thank you! I shall do that.

If you travel a lot, it is alright as their visa signature comes with free PPL access. Otherwise there are better cards out there.

I’m actually looking at its Visa Signature cause of the rewards points. You mention there are better cards out there, mind to recommend?

Lounge access is not a necessary but good to have. I want better rewards/value though.

Hi all, I read the HSBC fees and Tariffs that Visa Signature card will have Annual Fees waived provided that I swipe every month, am understanding it correctly?

Just to double confirm smile.gif

Hi, was talking to card sales from HSBC 3 days ago, that's their policy. To waive the AF, must use at least once a month and cumulatively >RM 2k. But then, she told me, if I did not use once a month but based on my historically usage, I can still request it to be waive, she said pandai2 lah. I think that's possible as mine was waived many years though I never used it monthly, but when I uses, i always used 3-4x a month and spent thousands biggrin.gif

That's reassuring, cause signature is like what? RM600 annual fees... T20 pricing for M40 card 😅
*
So this one is confirmed for HSBC Visa Signature Card?

QUOTE
RM600 primary card
Waived when you do 1x swipe once a month for 12 consecutive months, and meet annual spending of RM2,000

Cause i only see this information in RinggitPlus but cannot find any information on their website?
e-Wallet TopUp also can get points?

Thanks.
