Guys, I was offered the HSBC Amanah M-Power card. Can anyone using the card at the moment tell me what is good and bad about the card itself?

Cash back benefits mainly, not much but at least they do not have strict restrictions like HL Wise.

...as well as your usual merchant discounts but I guess you could refer to the site for more accurate info.

Wise won me on the categories part - if my Wise is approved, I can use it to pay all my utilities and mobile bills, which total around 1700+. Then, all I need to do is topup on the dining part (my other choice), and I'll get back RM 100 every month.

Amanah is good on the petrol (up to 8%) and groceries - but that's it. And I won't get up to RM 100.... max is only around RM 50.

Well, what I read on their website is that I need to spend around RM 2000+ to get the rebates. Or is there something I missed?

But u only need to spend rm1000 on the chosen 3 categories, and the balance on others.

Well, I have a pretty big electricity and water bill (don't ask)..... so a rebate of RM 100 is still better than nothing.
