After reading Gen-X's horror story...decided to stay away. I also phobia of offshore-based call centre, I personally had bad experience with HSBC call centre for my company banking matters sweat.gif

Hi guys,

In your experience, from applying online to getting the card and the Balance Transfer amount, roughly take how many working days?

The first year annual fee, is it automatically waived?
Nothing mention in the new application T&C, kinda suspicious.
*
U mean annual fee AFTER one year? I think no.

But annual fee upon card activation, I just spoken to a customer service guy, he said yes.

I just made a call to their CS and I've been told that there's no 12X Swipes p.a for first year, the requirement only starts from second year, anyone can verify this?
*
I think u misunderstand or they misinterpret u...

1st year annual fee = the day u got the card til 12 months after that
"2nd year" annual fee = after 12 months

P.S. - Got my MPower Platinum-I card. I signed up with the CIP 2.88%. When will I get the cash?
