One thing I don't get it with HSBC cards is that if I make payment from my HSBC savings account to my HSBC card, it takes one working day to take effect whereas other banks it is immediate (same bank account to same bank CC).
I always make payments exactly on due dates and I always kena with HSBC.
It’s actually very simple if you care about logic.I always make payments exactly on due dates and I always kena with HSBC.
Payments by you do not necessarily mean payments are received by payee. This afore statement encapsulates the whole gist of the payment deadline. Clearance of any mode of payments takes time unless it is a direct transfer to the bank in question which would then be recorded as received immediately.
So, you must give a time window for them to have the payment in their bank per se.
