Hi guys

So I just received my hsbc card and got my first estatemenet,

I got charge the rm25 service tax

Is it possible to call CS to negotiate to waive it off? Or am I able to waive it off next year?

Thanks for your advices..


Btw I got my card approved within a week, maybe now holiday season, their employees are taking leaves and many have registered for their attractive sign up promos

Called SC and was told to do 3 swipes within 45 days and they'll waived the charges rclxm9.gif

I got my RM20 cb for tng too yesterday, if i recall correctly i reloaded around 12.05am

Maybe you could go to the nearest hsbc branch and enquire?

I had similar experience with you, what i did was i called and the send to me another card, after like maybe 2 months or so, someone from the branch told me to collect my card (1st card before the cancellation)...

I told them I've already requested for a new card and it was sent to my home

Came across this post on linkedin, wonder if they'll improve their call centre after the incident, thank god they had the chat function which I used when my card had fraudulent charges

Yeah super frustrated but no choice, don’t think I have the luxury of time to wait on the phone for 2 hours, just told them to send over a new card on the chat function
