Do direct debits and on-line purchased contribute towards these 12X swipes quota ?
*
Yup, Online Purchase also Consider as Retail Spending.
Retail Spending (Transaction) = Any Purchases of Goods or Services (including all the Billing, Insurance, Quit Rent, Assessment Fee...) (swipe) Charged to the Credit Card.
But, NOT Including : ALL Cash Advances, Balance Transfer, Installment Payment Plan, other Credit Plan, Annual Fee & Charges.

FYI,
"Retail Spending / Transactions" = Any Purchases of Goods or Service which is Charged to the Credit Card

Retail Spending (Transactions)
i) Local / Overseas Purchases
ii) Auto Debit / Recurring / Standing Instruction (SI)
iii) E-commerce / Internet / Online
iv) Mail Order / Telephone Order (MOTO)

NON-Retail Spending (Transactions)
i) Flexi Payment Plan / Easy Payment Plan
ii) Balance Transfer (BT)
iii) Cash Advances / Dial For Cash (DFC)
iv) Credit Shield Plus / Card Protection Plan
v) Outstanding Balance / Finance Charge / Late Payment Charge
vi) Reversal on Transaction, Disputed / Fraudulent Transaction
vii) Card Replacement Fee / Annual Fee / GST, Other Fees & Charges

Got my visa signature approved recently, like what most forumers's experience, approval was fast, efficient, received verification call and within 5 mins received approval SMS. However CL was miserably low for a visa signature card....probably i'm a new customer

My old HSBC card expired, received new card but no plan to use because I'm using the other card (diff bank). So, if I don't activate within the given period, will my account expires by itself?

Had intention to terminate it but lazy to call the customer service.

you don't have to open hsbc account. Any savings account with any banks with malaysia will do. try re-read the t&c again.

Anyway, i found the catch. they only give away 6280 of this 0% installment. not unlimited. biggrin.gif
*
Typo...lah is 6780 Not 6280 sweat.gif
QUOTE(ksgill80 @ Aug 11 2016, 09:31 AM)
Meaning if you take RM10K cip then only 6280 is 0% interest free is it?
*
NO, what I mean here 6780 Quota Units /Applicants/ ppl can enrol to this Promo Rm10,000 0% Interest Free Cash Installment Plan... nod.gif
