cash back is instant cash (depends on %) while reward points need to collect and then redeem (depends on catalogue). different people will have different preference. The effective return for cash back is generally higher than reward points.

Maybe because of this:
Advance ticket purchases are eligible for this promotion if the purchase is made on every Saturday or Sunday only

The terms are quite confusing, so maybe others can shed some light

maybe email GSC with your specific movie date and purchase date. They do reply to email.

Hi, I had the online portal access for HSBC last time but didn't log in anymore after I terminated my card.

Recently, I have acquired a new card and I am unable to register a new portal account. I have forgotten my my password for the old access and I need to go to branch to get it reset and settled.

Question: will I still be getting the paper statement? The branch near my place is closed and I dont think I need the online portal.

Fulfilled my 1000 swipe two days ago and obtained the lazada voucher today

Trust hsbc system to be not consistent. My friend who fulfilled one week before me didn't get it, called and ask why still under checking

Received sms that my application is approved, 2 weeks after documents submission. Best part, falls under previous RM1000 spending condition promo.
