Personal thinking omni is not that good of a crowd control, or against too many disable, if a good team, they burst down omni 1st then the rest just slowly eat, which make u the main target or main core. You have only one repel, one heal, when the teamfight too intense, u cant manage it, if the enemy have enuf burst physical + magic, u basically cant do anything. For example combo, a good qop with orchid + one physical burst hero enuf to burst ur team down.
Edit: Omni big weakness: Silence!! ofc those are my personal opinion, he is not the almighty god hero you think (but a very great hero), but against pug its more than enuf for them to handle this situation, but how often u see tournament pick omni ? they prefer more reliable heal instead, like shadow shaman and witch doctor in dac lately. I've played against with Silencer, Faceless Void and some other disable heroes. Still not a problem for me. The biggest problem is with Doom. Once I got doomed, I'm completely useless. This is so much better than Free to Play. to Babycry: Yeah doom big counter to him actually, so far omni is a great hero with less counter, no need too imba skill to play, just need good judgement and outsmart ur enemy and the trust of ur team, that hero scale relatively to overall team performance, if they did good u are good, if they sux u still gonna lose even though u did good.
