Well for start you need a ranged hero to take out the bombs.
And of course, will require sentry wards to detect them.

Amateurish techies will spam too many bombs in one location like runes or the stairs. A good one will plant just a few of them, but at several unexpected spots. Be aware that his friends will also attempt to lure you to the bomb nest.

Watching these DAC matches really grills my motivation to play better.
I gotta say, thanks to v1n0d for suggesting me play CM a few weeks ago. Really an eye opener for me. I've learned:
- the value of support in a team
- the importance of warding
- positioning in a team fights
- playing with a squishy hero

Though its been a losing streak for me, my CM been my best hero with the highest winning rate so far. Mind you I just finished my first 10 mmr, so its pretty embarrassing to end up at 1.4k mmr. But hey, its a start.

BTW, quick question:

How do I pass ONE observer ward to an allied hero?
Purchasing a ward gives a pair, so I want to give one to an allied hero and the other with me. Is this possible?

I did tried CM mid yesterday, though my friend really was super skeptical of my idea. Wasn't really my best play, but its actually a decent built towards a carry CM.

I always prefer underdog heroes, but they seem to somehow become meta. Last time it was Jugg, and now probably going to be CM.

Question: What does Arcana set means? why is it considered different with any other heroes sets?

But PA Arcana just came out about two months ago. And I imagine the New Bloom event is to coincide with Chinese New Year occasion which is sometime next week. Quite fast Valve coming out with another Arcana set don't you think? But then again, where there is Valve, there's always money to be made.

Yea, I dislike the new UI. More suited for BF, COD or Mass Effect kinda game.

Speaking about the compedium, I plan to get one as well, but need to get some clarification before I do.
At the moment, the compedium they're selling at store is DAC2015 version. Does it mean its no longer necessary to get that since the competition is over?

There's also the Dota Pit League Season 3 compedium. Is it any different with the DAC 2015 set?

As a heavy CM user, I love to hear more of this statement from players.
The lesser known she is, the better I get to make her in pub games.

I've had this experience before when my son simply abandon my games.
One of the most excrutiating match I've ever played.
Its like going in prison.
You've got no choice but to play with these bunch of losers, worst scums of dota world, but at the same time, convince them to keep playing and not abandon. It doesn't matter if win or lose, just win with all 10 players intact.

thats just nonsense. i use mine no diff at all. but the effect does show the ulti radius better.

Valve server isn't made for event, seriously.
They announce another YB event at 8.30 am, and now its 8.44am and I still can't connect to dota 2 network.

Checked the news and I see they actually had server problem in the earlier YB event and compensated by giving a larger than usual daily ability points bonus.

fml.

Just ridiculous man.

I could'be played a good game instead.

Btw, if you guys seriously wanna push your luck for the event, consider going online much earlier that said time. At least 10 minutes before event starts, you've already have all your party members ready.

At the mark of 0.01 sec, hit that search button like its the speed round from wheel-of-fortune. And NEVER, NEVER, EVER try to restart search, reset party or restart your dota client. The moment you do, you can forget about the event.

Seriously, its all about luck. And if you wanna push your random luck, try a less hogged server, like Iceland or whatever.

yea, my method works!
Just make sure your party us ready before event start. dont last minute restart client.
As soon as timer hits zero, quickly search match.

As for gameplay, its really rushing. focus on one lane every spawn and try to push all the way to base, but try to save ur beast.

I'm still a little confused how to manipulate the ability points though. I got 5100 ap, so I went and choose upgrade speed. After that, I can't use anything at all.

Its been my third times playing the event, and I'm still a little bit confused with the gameplay.

So I have about 7000 ability points (AP). I got to choose one of three types of ability for Year Beast. But then, everyone else in my team get to choose one too. So what is the outcome of mixed selection? or if everyone choose Speed, will the Year Beast ending up with more agi points?

Then there's the timer for when you can begin upgrade your Year Beast to level 2, provided of course you have enough AP for that. At second spawn, it costs 5000AP. No problemo.

But it says the AP will refill at every respawn, yet my AP is left with minus 5000AP. So I figure upgrading Year Beast is permanent.

Lastly, I know using its normal skills like teleport, heal, attack and double damage uses renewable AP, but are the ulti skills deducting our AP permanently at 1000AP per skill used?

Suddenly this makes a lot of sense.



This is where I understood wrongly. I assumed that Brawl means everytime YB spawns. So apparently it means the Brawl is the entire event match itself.
