To be exact, I would not like to call them noob. Unless mmr differ too much then "might be"

If 2 person play together with same 4k mmr. Does not mean they match well with each other.

Dota is about bonding with teammate, the more you play with the same person, the better ur teamwork is. Every1 have their own playstyle. Some carry like to play aggresive, some more passive. Knowing their style will enhance how you gonna combo with them without much fail. There is one or two fren who play with me since we start dota 10 years ago, we know how each other play, so when teamfight, we always surprise each other with some unplanned team combo, and when we win, we sit back laughing and playback like "how the hell we can manage that, omg, that just cost our win in the teamfight" kind of feeling.

Pug is really interesting way to know ppl, I used to play too much support where i can suit with any1 in the team so well I can hardly understand how i did it. In short, observe ppl playstyle, will help a lot in later stage. Something extra is, you can observe enemy style, so u can abuse it and manipulate them with map control.

That why i usually found strangers and pug quite interesting, (as long as they don flame), we can keep miss combo a lot early game, and then we perfect the combo later own. Its one of the fun thing in dota, just go explore.

That pretty much explain why every1 here is lone wolf, or they have their circle of gang to play with. Btw if you wish to play with me, feel free to add me.

Mostly likely is the new policy of steam, any account without spending 5usd or above is not allow to add other as friend to prevent scam. But at least you are allow to accept friend.

Ya, pub games really need luck

This is true, but in the long run, your skill will outweigh your luck.

Playing better does not guarantee you a win, but it will increase your odds at winning. Sometimes you play perfectly in a game, but your teammates took away that victory from you, and sometimes you play like shit, but got carried to victory by your teammates. Sadly most players only remember the former. Our ego will always try to deny our incompetence. We keep telling ourselves that there is no luck involved when we win a game, but when we lose it all happened because of bad luck.

Winning and losing a single pub game always involve luck, but luck has nothing to do with gaining mmr and improving yourself as a player. Just like in poker games, good players will win in the long run. 50 wins and 40 loss will still net you 100 mmr gain. One year ago i couldn't even pass the 5.6k mark no matter how hard i try, but recently I managed to increase 400 mmr, from 5.7k to 6.1k playing "random only " on my alternate account.

Anything is possible in dota life.
