For FSM, if I topup units every month, do I get charged for every transaction? Also, is there any significant difference between eunittrust and fsm? eunittrust usually give 0% fee right? Is that management fee or sales fee? YES. Also, the management fee is once per year? Or? No. It has been deducted upfront from NAV in daily basis Also, is there any significant difference between eunittrust and fsm? Not much difference eunittrust usually give 0% fee right? Yes but usually for transaction above RM 5k or RM 10k. Is that management fee or sales fee? Service charge during purchase. |

QUOTE(Cubed1437 @ Jan 26 2015, 03:41 PM) Thank you. But for PRS, the website says its 0% sales fee, so if I topup each month, I dont get charged right? Or there's still the management fee? Most of the PRS funds is usually at 0% SC.Some said that RSP on non-PRS funds with FSM is charged at 0.8% SC. Management fee is charged by the fund manager and not by FSM. QUOTE(repusez @ Jan 26 2015, 04:29 PM) There's a 1% discount on the service charge for new member if you use RSP for the 1st six months Go and dig back several pages back. and also 1% discount on service charge for the 1st month for new member http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/resea...?articleNo=1985 I don't think there are any 0.8% SC promo. I don't want to further comment on the RSP matter. |

QUOTE(Jeck10 @ Jan 26 2015, 07:47 PM) Hi everyone, newbie to fsm and investing here..have been looking at the website but still blur..do you guys usually choose your own funds, or better to just pick their recommended portfolios? And also put in money in PRS and RSP too? Please enlighten me..thanks sifu-sifu.. For newbies, it's better to choose for the recommended portfolio or funds.PRS and RSP is up to your decision. FSM won't force. Most of us here follow up to certain recommendations from FSM. |

But Ponzi 2.0 is actively managed fund in order to achieve 8.0% p.a.
I'm confident with its mid term progress. Surprisingly they have unloaded holdings in Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines. |

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jan 27 2015, 10:14 PM) How much do u target and currently have in your investment portfolio as a % of what u have in your EPF? Mr Steve said that majority of us would not have enough. You need to save/invest up to 33% of your income to become 66% of future retirement spending (2/3 of your last drawn salary). Our EPF is only offering 23% by statutory. The 10% gap has to be filled from somewhere else; for instance PRS. PPA/EPF study is very conservative. The study is just at least maintaining pre-retirement lifestyle (not upgrading!). Don't flame me. I'm not promoting PPA or PRS. This post has been edited by David83: Jan 27 2015, 10:18 PM |
