hmm.gif i think Mr Chen is NOT saying that to promote his fund.... doh.gif  when he said that he is not promoting EI funds....
he was talking about "Psychology and Investing"
Synopsis: Successful investing doesn't require one to be a genius. In fact, Warren Buffett once quipped, "Success in investing doesn't correlate with I.Q. once you're above the level of 25. Once you have ordinary intelligence, what you need is the temperament to control the urges that get other people into trouble in investing." Here we look at some of the common psychological barriers and mental pitfalls preventing investor from becoming more successful and explore strategies to overcome them.

i think he is JUST saying "even though similar mandate, strategy and stock selection could be different between fund houses" is in the post above.
david83 is that correct?
*
Yes he said that.

Even though funds have similar mandate and region. Strategy and stock selection could be differ. Even same strategy employed, stock selection could also different.

That is his point of view on risk diversification using different fund houses. Don't put everything into same fund house.

Now on a serious note, this RHB OSK GS US Equity has dropped quite abit recently, is this its normal ups and down or the UT has got some problem?

Worried la if i keep buying when it is going down....
If you guys are moving out of it, please let me know so that i wont go deeper underwater.
*
That fund tracks US market closely. You have to compare with US benchmark like S&P 500.

Fund won't always goes up all the time.

The SC charges for Ponzi 2.0 also recovered. Just saying.. Lol

You can still top up for Ponzi since it's still got 1% SC.

Ponzi 1 or 2?

Not keen on topping up HSAQ. I'm comfortable with my Malaysia exposure at the moment.

In terms of 2, after I topped up my China/HK only went up by 1%. So that's fine too.

Currently, my region exposure are quite balanced Malaysia. China/HK both at 13%. US and Europe at 10% and 12% respectively.

Malaysia’s twin deficits risk

In a statement released late evening, the sovereign rating agency described Malaysia's external liquidity has already weakened with the international reserves having declined by 12 per cent or US$16 billion between August and December 2014.
