Noob question here, is there a way to view the battery level on the f43 flash? I read the manual but it just stated it will only pop out the symbol when battery is low, which is highly inconvenient

Anyone tried claiming Sony warranty before? Did they request a presentation of your receipt? I bought from a sony staff so I didn't get a receipt but customer service confirmed with me that my S/N's warranty is in their databse and will expire in January

hi guys, just got back from balloon fest and took some pics with my NEX 5R.
Notice something weird, there's a 'shadow bar' on each of the photo with bright flame.
Is it normal or my sensor/lense got problem?

nothing wrong with the camera, i know what it is, but i dunno how to explain. still looking for article to explain that. 

its something to do with first digital curtain. it happens to early batch of nex when shot with HSS in digital curtain mode. but until now, nobody know is because of digital curtain or digital curtain in high speed shutter (over 1/160) issue.

advise is simply turn the Front Curtain Shutter mode under Setup to ON. but pls turn back to Off when shooting normally.

you misread/misunderstood?
this thing affect all EFCS... to avoid it you need physical curtain.
