Just to ask, say I fully charge my phone, then after unplugging the cable, before the next charge I somehow had to sync the phone with my mac, and during this process the mac will start charging the phone, will u lose ur phone batt stats?
*
Yes, you will and that is very normal. You will have "iPhone has been plugged in since the last full charge" displayed in Battery Usage.

the system take how much space?
dont know to take 64 or 128 version....
------------------------
6+ hard to use with 1 hand leh....
cos my sister have 6+ so test drive liao....
haiz...why not just keep 1 type of iphone nia...
*
64GB = around 56GB, 128GB = around 116GB

BTW, yea man, it's too big. I really dislike the 6 Plus because of its size, it's really hard to use. Why don't Apple put the same specs but the only difference is the screen size. Come on Apple.

Do u guys advice OTA update? or it is better to update through itunes?
*
I usually avoid OTA update. When there is an update available, I will make an effort to connect my devices to my Mac and then update them through iTunes, and so far all my devices work fine.

Updating your device through iTunes is more reliable, since it will update the whole build of operating system, unlike OTA update that will only patch the current operating system on your device.

You should only choose OTA update if you currently have no problem with your device, otherwise you will probably end up with unstable/buggy device. For major release, it is highly recommended to update through iTunes.

Hmm I always thought airdrop is either wifi or bt on adhoc basis. Don't think you need to connect manually.
*
It's still a pain in the *** to transfer files from iPhone to Mac via AirDrop tho.

Almost the same thing now, unplug at night 11pm+ with 3G on (just for testing), didn't drop from 100% at all until I sit at office using it like 40mins+ then it start to drop to 99%. However, starting from 99% the battery % don't stay as long as it does at 100%, I wonder is it normal? Because it is quite fast dropping from 99% to 98% tho.  hmm.gif
*
It’s normal, even my iPhone, iPad and Mac does that. The reason for this is, the battery holds about 5% extra charge after 100%. Therefore, when you charge your device, you may want to charge it a little bit longer although the battery percentage in the status bar already shows you 100%.

Hey want to ask what screen protectors you guys are using?i want to use it with ringke max case so edge to edge one is out of the question huh.

Btw,does it make a difference if the home button cutout is horseshoe shaped or round shape?
*
Mine is with open cutout. as far as I know, the one with circle cutout for the home button usually is a curved tempered screen protector which covers the edges of iPhone 6 too.

i have this problem also with my 6, sometimes will has no service some more
*
I have yet to experience No Service on my 6, but sometimes the LTE is not stable. It will switch to 3G intermittently.

I hope this is just a network problem, and not my 6 starting to act up.

At this rate the topic of this thread may need to change to The Official iPhone 6/6+ Battery Life Discussion Thread

Yup, honestly, I can't see any difference between 8.1.2 and 8.1.3 battery life. Maybe because it is too subtle, and I don't really care about that mofo until I can see a very noticeable difference.

I've been using my 6 for more than 2 months now. I put it in my front pocket, and it is still in perfect condition. Touch wood it will carry on like that.

Hi, guys..

I just receive my ip6.

Having issue with the camera - slow-mo mode. Screen flickering... any idea?

I google the results and saw quite numbers of people having this issues.

Can anyone advise me.
*
It's normal. Lights always "blink" at a very high rate due to utility frequency, and human eyes just aren't fast enough to see it. Depending on which country you live in, the frequency can either be 50 or 60 Hz. What this means is, you will probably notice about 4 flashes per second when you record in 240fps slow-mo, which is 240/4. Some lights however, will give you less noticeable flickering because of how they are designed.

Sunlight in the other hand, is measured in THz, so that explains why we can't see any flickering when we record slow-mo under natural lighting. 240fps slow-mo ain't fast enough to capture it.
