windows 7 64 bit.. online searched n tried the solution but still persists hmm

I don't know if you have tried this yet, but try copying QTMovieWin.dll from Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support to Program Files\iTunes.

can't find such file in that folder  hmm.gif
*
Let’s see, try moving the first folder below to the desktop and try launching iTunes. If the issue persists, move the first folder back to its original location and try moving the second folder.

1) c:/Users\username\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\iTunes

2) c;/Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes

BTW, since this is an iPhone thread, I think it's appropriate to continue this in PM.

Touch ID will become less responsive if my fingers are sweaty or wet tongue.gif . So try wiping your fingers and also the Home button.

Maybe turning off JavaScript and Safari in iCloud settings could help.

Mine 64 Gb.. latest OS version.. How to check manufacturing?
*
Use this link http://sndeep.info/en

I remember reading about TLC NAND flash issue on both 64GB and 128GB iPhone 6/6 Plus, I hope this is not the case with your phone.

Mine is equipped with MLC NAND flash and so far everything is good (no crashes/random reboots).

For those who have an issue with Safari crashing when opening a specific website, maybe you guys could try Web Inspector to see what’s going on. Enable it in Settings and then access your device via the Develop menu in Safari when it’s connected to your computer.

Some users in this thread reported that CIMB’s website crashed Safari, so I fired up Safari and went to CIMB’s website and found 130 warnings (Unexpected CSS token - styles.jsp) as you can see in the spoiler below. However, it didn’t crash.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Anyway, I don’t have an account so I can’t login though. Maybe, those who have CIMB accounts could inspect it further?

Also, you might want to check the crash logs. Do note that the iOS device must be synced first.

For Mac > ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/

For Windows > \Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\

You might also check out Diagnostics & Usage in Settings > Privacy > Diagnostics & Usage > Diagnostics & Usage Data

Perhaps we could determine whether it’s the memory/JS/CSS/WebKit/or other things.

Oh, and by the way, Happy Chinese New Year!

I already go to the link.. and enter my imei.. then what should I do? all the details about my phone appear..
*
Enter your serial number and then look for Week and Age. The manufacturing date could determine whether your phone has TLC or MLC chip.

bro, u using iphone 6+ and the safari didnt crash when log in to cimbclicks?  biggrin.gif

ip5 didnt crash, but ip6+ yes, restart tongue.gif
*
iPhone 6. 6 Plus users can try and see what's happening when it crashes.

QUOTE(amirsnake @ Feb 19 2015, 09:25 PM)
What that means TLC or MLC?
*
TLC = Triple Level Cell, MLC = Multi Level Cell

If I am not mistaken, Apple already switched to MLC in October/November last year. Not sure about 128GB 6/6 Plus tho.

Hi all..looking at buying either iphone 6 or 6 plus for my wife. I have a problem to choose for her since this is a gift. Which do u guys think i should go for? For her size is not an issue but does it worth it to get a bigger screen? Thanks in advance  for all the feedbacks.
*
Since size is not an issue, I think you better get her 6 Plus.

iPhone 6 user here, with bad battery life...

~4 hours from 100% to 0%

- Background activity completely disabled
- Location services complete disabled
- No auto mail download
- No auto apps update
- LTE/bluetooth disabled
- Always on 3G with decent coverage; Probably 40% of the time on WiFi
Phone is from Maxis, am I able to request for another unit? sad.gif
*
Even with high usage, I can get around 6 hours on my iPhone 6.

Try doing a DFU restore and/or calibrating the battery.

No issues with me with OTA before. I prefer OTA because you only download the needed files Not the whole FW.
*
iTunes update is more reliable since it will update the whole build of operating system. But if your phone is fine, then save your time and go with OTA update.

+1.
nod.gif  I usually go for OTA as the 1GB++ file download is a bit too long for me.
*
I'm a bit OCD about the performance. It usually takes 10-15 minutes for me to download the update via iTunes, but sometimes the download fails at the very last moment, jeez.

I'm on iOS 8.1.3, everything is fine except for AirDrop between my iPhone and Mac. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
